a64hoo...If you take the money out...the amoral individuals you want to blame would not be involved in politics. Get it!

Term limits is the key to our "crooked", "dumbass" politicians. I believe two terms in too long. One term..period! Next citizens up!

We need to put the corporate tax at zero..That will stop all that "unfriendly to small business and the business community".

Bottom line..jack up the taxes on personal income on top 10%, capital gains and dividends. Problem solved..

Business has no taxes. So either the business can invest that extra money in their employees (which we know that will not happen). Reinvest in the company (which would create jobs). Or give back to their shareholders (which would be taxed).

or..what would most likely happen. They would sit on tons of cash

  • Jim Chanos sees dark side of natural gas boom [View news story]
This country was blessed with an abundance of natural gas! We should be using it! A nat gas energy policy would be a huge catalyst for our economy and our national security.

Anyone I talk to about this..agrees 100%. Common sense

Our energy policy should be simple...provide short term (three years starting 2015-2018) tax breaks for car companies to produce vehicles that run on natural gas. That would give time for a little build of out infrastructure.

The day of that announcement, oil would drop $20.

All we need is a little kick start from the government.

The problem with Health Care in America is this fact:

My insurance company was charged $1,800 for a CT Scan of my abdomen. If you offered to pay cash, the same CT Scan costs $300.

    How is that legal?

  • U.S. gasoline demand in the coming peak spring-summer driving season will slip to a 12-year low of 8.87M bbl/day as fuel-efficiency gains more than offset increasing highway travel, EIA forecasters say. The U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline is projected at $3.63/gal., down 1.8% Y/Y, due mostly to slightly lower crude oil prices that account for 65% of the pump price. [View news story]
    Amazing..gas consumption is at a 12-year low..yet prices are at 12-year highs.

Someone explain? Ooo right..global demand is increasing. What about all this "new" oil being produced in America?

Obviously the market is being manipulated.

  • BlackBerry Q4 2013 Earnings Review: Bullish Or Bearish? [View article]
    Microsoft should buy Blackberry!

I would estimate 98% of business use Windows in their offices. I would also guess that 85% of Blackberry users are using them for business purposes.

Microsoft could provide a "business focused" ecosystem. The phone integrated to your PC and the business's network. They could do some amazing things

    Matt,

I took profits on GPOR at $46.33. Pretty good run up considering a bought a lot of shares at $16.00.

I am thinking about moving these funds to either NOG or SN. Any thoughts? NOG seems really low and their last earnings report was pretty positive. I like SN because they have no debt and seem like they are a couple quarters away from showing some solid well results. (mostly oil)

  • Natural Gas 80% Cheaper Than Oil, Can Save Commercial Truck Fleets A Bundle [View article]
Fair play? This government (repubs & dems) are 100% controlled by big business!! Exxon is the largest company in world and the most powerful and influential.

If you don't think the oil companies are preventing this country's change to natural gas you are delusional.

Everyone this side of the Atlantic knows we need to stop purchasing oil from the Middle East. This sends all of our wealth to countries that hate America. Everyone agrees a switch over to NG vehicles would lead to one of the greatest "boom times" for the US economy. All the wealth would stay in America..Cheaper gas (great for the economy) and hurt the Middle East in the process..

    Why has this not occurred?

  • Natural Gas 80% Cheaper Than Oil, Can Save Commercial Truck Fleets A Bundle [View article]
If the government would simply offer a one time tax break (fiscal year 2015) for trucking companies to convert each vehicle to natural gas...

That is all it would take! Oil would drop $20 the day it was announced and the race would be on. The build out for such a conversion would be an instant boost the economy. Not to mention gas prices $1.00 per gallon cheaper.

Of course...consumer vehicles would be next. By 2025 we could have 35% nat gas - 45% gasoline - 20% hybrid.

  • Is Texas Roadhouse Worth A 'Steak?' [View article]
I love the "Roadhouse"..Why? Because they have great food at a great value. There steaks (which are the best around) are about $3-$4 cheaper than other places. That is unbelievable considering the meal taste sooo much better!

If all variables stay the way they are...this company will be very profitable!! I would expect they get bought out.
