Just one thought. I see the Keurigs in a lot of homes now; including my own. Shouldn't that increase sales of the K-Cups?

  • Is There No End To The Biotech Bull Market? [View article]
Great article. I have a question. You state:
"We have not yet seen any trends or data which challenge this secular bull."

Do you mean the overall secular bull market , or the biotech secular bull market?

Do you believe these stocks still have room to run?
    Thanks.

  • Is It Time To Sell Microsoft, Netflix Or Apple? [View article]
    Peter,

Thanks for a great article. I have a question:
When I looked at the Apple 50 and 100 moving day average using the yahoo finance interactive chart, they were the same for 1year, 3mos, and 1 mos chart--50day=582.98 100 day=508.17; but when I looked at the 5 day chart the 50 day=584.26 and the 100 day =584.13; and on the 1 day chart the 50 day=584.18 and the 100 day =584.35.
    2 Questions:
    1. Why the difference?

    2. Which should I use?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

  • Investing In Apple 'Too Difficult?' [View article]
I read this before. He obviously missed APPL and is making excuses to his customers.
    3. "Apple investors can expect somewhere in the range of $10 - $15 billion in total pre-tax profit for this newest version of the iPad. Unless investors thought Apple's stock was way too cheap before the new iPad announcement, they seem to be expecting much more value to be delivered to shareholders from the iPad launch than can be reasonably be delivered by sales of the iPad device itself. The $172 billion increase in the company's value (this year) far exceeds the approximately $15 billion that will come from the iPad, so it will have to come from something else. We don't know yet what that 'something else' is."

This comment assumes a P/E of 1. At just a PE of 10 the 15 Billion is worth--150 Billion just the amount the stock went up.

  • Retirement Strategy: Buy On Dips, Add To Core Holdings [View article]
    RS,

I see the term "buy on dips" all of the time. I obviously know what a dip is; but how much of a dip would trigger a buy . That is; can you quantify it; is it .5%, 1%, 2%? Do you have a % that you consider an actionable dip?
Thanks in advance for your help,
    TC
