The rally since Oct has also been especially sharp and low volume, it's also a sign of short covering.]]>

        <![CDATA[you just proved my point, the stock got killed in the last recession despite higher than average growth.  If we get another recession, the same thing will happen to Apple stock again.  Just exactly which 23 economic indicators are you looking at?  Was it the 80k employment increase? If you are talking about the GDP, those are lagging indicators and the only reason we got a 2.5% is saving rate went down, perhaps saving rate will keep going down to boost the economy, but I wouldn't bet on it.]]>

Forward PE in a recession will get slashed, they are just estimates, look at how Apple missed their last quarter.]]>

How much have you heard about Google voice functionality vs how much have you heard about Siri. Just because you are the first to do something, doesn't make you dominate. Facebook isn't the first social network and Google isn't the first search engine, but both improved their products to dominate their industries. ]]>

Most electricity usage in a household is fixed, used on appliances such as stove, fridge, etc. Most state governments also have very generous electricity/gas subsidy programs for low income families.]]>
