More on Green Mountain Coffee Roasters' (GMCR) FQ1: The company sold 4.95M Keurig brewers during the period, up 18% from a year ago. Gross margin was up 220 bps to 31.3% due to lower green coffee costs. Green Mountain Coffee Roasters sees FY2013 EPS of $2.72-2.82, compared to the consensus mark of analysts calling for $2.71. GMCR -8.1% AH with investors seeming to have been expecting a stronger beat. (PR) [View news story]
What happened with this unfair result? Is there anyone can explain GMCR's falling down in spite of EPS of $0.76 beats by $0.11. Revenue of $1.34M (+16% Y/Y) beats by $10M? If Short sellers fabricated this one, it would be a big problem and we need to demand them to correct. Anyway, I love GMCR and continuously hold GMCR and buy more shares when it is low. Appreciate any one's reply to my question.
Who knows whether Apple (AAPL) is over- or underpriced - different investors can come to different valuations - but after the week it's had (down 6% in three days, and 10% off its high), maybe you should look at paring that position (and considering how much Apple moves major indexes, you may own a lot more than you think). [View news story]
I agree with opinions Apple's price is still too high and over priced, because there are many stocks which are undervalued and there's no reason Apple should not be undervalued, if you insist Apple is undervalued. Also, stock prices are not exactly matched with their value in stock market world. All stock prices are low now and Apple is in price adjustment session. Apple price was so much rallied and investors are now enjoying sell off to get profit difference. Mine was already sold to realize profit differnece.

Hi Luckycharlie,
Thank you so much for the reply to my question. It looks that there are some complicated and tangled interests. We live in a so so world. Would you tell me what "the weak hands" denotes? In that case, Do you think GMCR could not beat the original estimate (not lowered estimate)?
In my opinion, QE3 is benefit U.S. Economy and then all stocks. I don't think there's any stock which is excluded from the QE3 benefit. Please rethink about your negative view on FOSL. I don't agree with your view which QE3 will most likely not benefit FOSL much more than the rest of the sector. If economy is active, job market also will be active and everybody will consume more on luxorious goods for their marriages. Benson

To Brendan Gilmartin,
It's a good article. I would like to ask you for the correction of the company's fisical year 2012 to 2013 and 2011 to 2012 in your article. As far as I know the company's fisical year 2012 was over as "BBBY reported 4th quarter 2012 earnings of $1.48 per share on April 4, 2012. This beat the $1.33 consensus of the 26 analysts covering the company." Accordingly, the company's next earning report was anounced as " The next earnings (1st quarter of 2013) announcement from BBBY is expected the week of June 20, 2012." Your prompt reply to this matter would be highly appreciated. Regards.

Hi Stephen Rosenman,
I have read your valuable article very impressively. I tried to find @$530 that you suggested in your article on May 18 buying Apple, but failed to find your any suggestion to buy at @$530 in your article. Where can I find your suggestion in your article buying apple at $530 accurately hitting the bottom in the stock?
I think that Facebook is a different category than Google. Accordingly, Google does not have to fear Facebook. Actually, Google has variety search functions and customers are for business. But, Facebook is for more recreational or for breaktime. I understand that GM withdrew their advertisement from Facebook and it makes sense.

It is an abuse against GMCR's management and CEO that Joseph Poma said "This is a sheepish attempt to hide the fear that every GMCR executive has at the moment." Joseph declared that he had no position in any stocks in 72 hours, but it looked that he going to buy GMCR at his goal price after 72 hours after he intentionally induce GMCR to fall down. He analyzed GMCR until 2014 as if GMCR's management exacutives and CEO would not work anything for the company profit and sales increase.

You are right, Mr. Yreuven. Green Mountain investors should have a confidence whatever it will be and Green Mountain CEO will have a proper measurement, tactics and establish countermeasures. There's no need to worry about competition because all competitors are in same level and condition or position.

I will simply introduce myself as a stock investor. It must be a great progression to rescue EU and to recover economy. Meanwhile, every country including U.S.A. may need to have a new law to limit borrowing money by issuing government bonds as we learned that politicians' and political parties' reelection ambitious made their country ruined in Greece and Italy. I think that it is an urgent matter in every country. Do you agree with this matter?
