  • Apple: Is Web-TV Addressing An Ecosystem Risk? [View article]
Apple's Brand is dependent upon their ecosystem. They are not risking it but merely extending it. It is clear that Apple wants to be ubiquitous in most aspects of our social lives (entertainment, information, automobiles, health, etc.). As long as they maintain their vigilance on quality, they will continue to grow their followers in virtually all of their pursuits.

  • The Insane Apple Advantage Revisited [View article]
In the conclusion the author writes: "this is one more factor that is slowly changing against Apple.". The choice of words "one more" strongly suggests of author bias against the company. Very little data regarding global supply and demand is in the article. For the most part, it is "conjecture".

  • ModernGraham Annual Valuation Of Duke Energy Corporation [View article]
I suspect you could use the ModernGraham method of valuation at every one of DUK's peaks over the last 5 years and come to the same analytical conclusion. In my opinion, DUK is a well led strategically focused company that continually does the right things for shareholders and customers (and now the environment). As such, I have been LONG DUK for 15 years and never regretted it. I drip the dividends and have been handsomely rewarded (as your graph nicely shows). Unless something changes drastically with the company's results or direction, I will continue to be a proud shareholder of the stock.

  • Samsung Is Sinking, While Apple Garners Robust Demand In China [View article]
Refreshing. But history suggests this may be a wolf in sheep's clothing. LOL...

  • Apple Short Interest Has Skyrocketed - Negative Headlines Could Add To It [View article]
2% of shares outstanding merely constitutes gambling by certain traders, not a reflection of MASSIVE market movements on the bias of the stock.

  • Investors Can't Believe The Apple Hype [View article]
The only time I have lost money on AAPL is when I sold, when I lost confidence. The author seems to just be tired of waiting for the "next big thing" and doesn't realize that AAPL's future is not about the next iPad and/or device, it is about a ubiquitous Ecosystem that seamlessly operates the world around us. No other competitor is even close to "pulling it all together" like AAPL and with every i-watch, and iPad, and i-thermometor, and i-car, etc., we get closer to being able to talk to our i-device thing and have peace and harmony as it explicitly directs the world around us at our beckon call.

Sure there will be high's and lows in the stock over time and if your are exceptional, you can call them and make some money. To me, the safer bet is to stick with the company as long as the quality, the consumer, the shareholder, and the ecosystem continue to be top priorities.

  • Apple Innovates But Fails To Inspire Under Cook [View article]
Making a comparison in styles between Jobs and Cook is like comparing Eisenhower to Patton, both great but different styles. I truly don't get the point and wish the shallow Apple bashing would slow down.

  • Apple Is Weak, That Is Not Normal [View article]
Today is just "beta" noise associated with Wall Street "trading". Any stock that has been on a nice run will have down days due to profit taking and fund allocation rotation. Don't listen to the speculators on the news, especially CNBC. The sky falls daily with them because that's how they make a living. Stay long with great companies and you'll be rewarded.

  • Can Apple Become A Services Company? [View article]
Think a ubiquitous "I-World" for those who like things to work seamlessly and reliably. What accompanies that is far more than just a Service company. I agree with most others, you don't seem to understand Apple.

  • Apple's Success Is In The Sensational And The Subtle [View article]
Plus continued growth in China and India, APP expansion due to a state of perpetual growth, and possibly accesories that help iOS integrate with home devices will allow for even more investment security and returns. I am LONG Apple and writing this supportive comment from my Macbook Pro...

  • Apple Set For Strong Sales Of iPhone 6 In Just A Few Weeks - But Is It Too Little, Too Late? [View article]
MB, you have consistently proven yourself to be infamously and notoriously wrong where your conjecture on Apple is concerned. I ponder the benefit to you for ongoing bashing of Apple, irrespective of your professed very expensive short positions. I haven't seen anyone take such an incorrect stance for so long on anything so I strongly suspect there is personal benefit to you that most readers don't realize. Eventually the truth will set you free (in my opinion).

  • Note On Cheap iPhones [View article]
Kia and Toyota and GM are all making better cars. I think BMW AND Mercedes should use their technological advantage to price compete in those markets where they don't sell cars. Brilliant!

  • Code Orange For Apple: Market Share Decline Is A Pounding Headache [View article]
I believe you will find that FAR more usage occurs on iOS than android and absolute sales are still increasing. Lastly customer retention with AAPL is among the highest in any industry. So what's your point again?
