    Intense research and development is being done by many companies to produce convenient and inexpensive mobile reading devices. Right now we are working with software, hardware, and other publishers within the industry to develop a model that works for consumers. Beyond the economics, it is crucial we maintain a direct relationship with our customers.
    Sounds like more competition is on the horizon for Amazon's Kindle.

  • Bankrate.com's Final Curtain Call Was an Online Advertising Horror Show

    Bankrate (RATE) announced that it is being acquired by Apax Partners, a private equity firm, for $28.50 per share in cash. Simultaneously, RATE preannounced that its Q2 revenues fell 23% y-o-y and its results missed consensus estimates.
