Unhealthy economical growth with the help of QEs from the central bankers. Younger generation Americans and citizens from other countries will need to pay for hyperinflation and new taxes related to the aftermath of QEs.

  • Julian Robertson's Tiger Management unloaded the 42K Apple (AAPL) shares the firm still had going into Q1. Tiger, which has owned Apple for years, had pared its stake from 101K in Q4. On the other hand, Tiger initiated positions in Dunkin' Brands (DNKN - 546K shares), Monsanto (MON - 192K), McGraw Hill (MHP - 408K), and H&R Block (HRB - 849K). AAPL -1.1%. • France slid into recession during Q1 as the French economy contracts 0.2% Q/Q after shrinking by the same amount in Q4. With unemployment at record levels and President François Hollande's popularity at all-time lows, the country faces an uphill battle to right the ship as it struggles to bring its deficit in line with the EU-mandated 3%, while simultaneously restoring growth. Economists see the French economy contracting by 0.2% for the full year and a survey of French citizens shows just 11% believe Hollande can bring down the jobless rate by year's end. The CAC 40 (EWQ) is little changed. [View news story]

  • A Tired Bull Market [View article]
I believe the US, UK and Europe big banks all conclude the future financial sector will shrink. One by one are starting to restructure their businesses. With the withdrawal of QE fund and new taxes to be implemented, I believe the stocks markets are now fair or being overvalued.

  • More Bernanke: "Many households remain more financially fragile than might be inferred from the aggregate statistics alone," he says, touting new, even more detailed data the Fed is monitoring. The Fed never saw the greatest macro event in generations coming (even when it was on top of us), and Bernanke lays some of the blame on a lack of intricate numbers coming across the desks of central bank economists. [View news story]
I believe that there will be another Lehman Brothers Part II involving wrongly managed investment banks if the current subprime-mortgage bubble trend continues.
