  • Odyssey's SEC 10Q: Out Of Cash In Weeks, Neptune Minerals Declines -94% [View article]
Have all you bulls on this board read the "Trends and Uncertainties" portion of the 10-Q? Its actually a little grim. And Meson is definitely right about the complete disconnect between the way the call (safe harbor protected) and the filing.

On the flip side, I am not exactly sure what mgmt's purpose would be in drawing this out/or lying. Collect a few more paychecks? Scramble to get more funding? Maybe they are waiting until Labor Day to throw the kitchen sink out on that Friday afternoon.

Meson, has definitely been aggressive (and wrong so far) in his bankruptcy call. Along with his assertion that no gold would be found at the site.

Mgmt however seems incredibly sketchy in the cherry-picking they are doing of data and the discrepancy btw the CC and the filing.

    Just my thoughts.

Meson, whats your take on the few gold coins they did recover? Does it call into question your thesis that there was no extra gold/rogue salvagers would have removed it. I am skeptical of the company too and am short. Thanks for the excellent work you did on this.

Is the SSCA set up as a subsidiary? Or do you think they were referring to Ocenanica?

Yet, the pattern of recovery indicates they did find the highest value stuff first, followed by smaller and smaller (dollar amount) recoveries. Do you believe this to be coincidence or the fact they have indeed been opportunistic in their hauls?

I understand there is usually a methodical process to a recovery like this, however I think from mgmt's perspective they would have been more aggressive in pulling up higher value objects more immediately, given the specific liquidity concerns of the company. There may be more high value stuff down there but if I was mgmt, I would have wanted to pull that stuff up before that last conference call instead of having to ask investors to have faith in them etc. It also affects their ability to secure more funding if they need it. Just my two-cents.

The fact that they did not name the sub is further evidence of mgmts evasive manner. Since they know they are coming up short with the SSCA they have pegged investors hopes to Oceanica -- now they have used the Oceanica equity as collateral for the loan but refuse to mention it in this press release. Very shady.

What were video related sales this Q? Last year Q2 2013, they were 1.9M or 6% of revs. Anyone know what they were this year?

Good conversation. I have serious doubts about their concept. Rochelle do you have an estimate for this years EPS?

  • Don't Believe Us? Test The Teas Yourself [View article]
Very interesting research. I do have a few questions:

    1. Were these 13 the only samples you tested?
    2. Do you have proof of chain of custody? Shipping data?
    3. Why such a small sample size?

    Thanks
