  • Generex successful in increasing insulin concentration in spray product candidate [View news story]
Company's market cap is under $13 million. I'd certainly call that a penny stock!

I'm going out on a limb here and saying they are just tagging MNKD on articles for fun now just to see everyone show up and start getting red-faced in the comment section.

    They're trolling us

  • Analysts Weigh In On MannKind Following Q4 Results [View article]
This is true, but keep in mind how many stocks like this they're tracking. As a small investor, when you are only tracking your favorite 10 or 12 companies, you can really dig deeper. These guys need to weigh in on hundreds of stocks; there's just not enough hours in the day to dig that deep on all of them.

I just realized my shares are in a margin account. I'm moving it to a cash position today. What if every investor did this at once? :)

  • MannKind Investors, Hold On For The Long Haul [View article]
Agreed Robert. I don't know how he has been able to determine that Sanofi is already incorrectly marketing Afrezza when they've only had about a month so far.

This will be a long process and is far from over. You don't just toss a product on the shelves and have people come in and buy it. Doctors (and patients) need to be educated on its strengths and what differentiates it before they will even think about prescribing it.

Also, most Doctors aren't early adopters. A lot of physicians I've personally spoken with always wait and see how a drug acts on the market for a year or two before they prescribe it to a single patient.

  • MannKind Investors, Hold On For The Long Haul [View article]
I agree it will be "show me what you got" but I highly doubt it was really go much lower until then. Where are the shorts going to get their shares? A large % of the float is already short, and a lot of people holding (like myself) are in this for the long haul and aren't going to panic out.

Sure, you might have a few people who were in this for short term gains but once we shake them out I see it forming a base and consolidating before it (hopefully) makes its next move higher once we see it gaining traction.

  • Fairway Group: Part 1 Of My Top 5 For 2015 [View article]
If you're long FWM, you believe in the turnaround story...which means you certainly shouldn't sell, because it's far from over. This is still in the very early innings.

If you don't believe in the turnaround story, you shouldn't be long ;)

  • Could MannKind's U.S. Traction Result In A Short Squeeze? [View article]
I did a little more digging after I wrote this, and the insider picture isn't nearly as bad as my first impression. Most still have more shares than they did 6 months or a year ago, even if they have been selling some of their shares acquired through exercises

  • The Howard Hughes Corporation┬« Receives Approval for Mixed-Use Development Featuring Whole Foods Market, New Retail and High Rise Residences [View article]
One foot in front of the other. Everything this company touches is done with style and class, and their focus on being environmentally sustainable and pedestrian friendly only helps the community embrace them, rather than viewing them with disdain. This isn't easy for a developer to do consistently, and yet HHC manages it very well.

It's been my largest holding since March '13 and don't plan on selling anytime soon. I hope its success will start attracting more analysts/followers, as the updates are few and far between.

Has anyone given any color on these insider transactions? They sure seem to be picking up momentum...but this would be such a strange time considering the stock's depressed levels.

Either they really think this is going to be an epic dud (but then why didn't they sell in June or July when stock was north of $10) or they all happen to need money at the same time.
