  • My Concerns About Zoe's Kitchen [View article]
My concern is after a field trip with family members. The service was worse than the food. No one liked it. So we thought it due to it being new so we went back, same result. I plan to short the heck out of the stock. In my opinion it is a zero.

  • Saudis Are Unlikely To Cut Oil Production At The OPEC Meeting In November [View article]
I don't agree. Look I am a mini Saudi. I am 1 trillionth of saudi arabian interest.
I have a wife and kids who need money. I own oil wells, leases, refining either directly or through stocks. My income is dependent on oil prices. I don't want to fritter away my reserves by pumping it cheaply!
How am I different from the Saudis except in size?
Would I not like to cooperate with other texans, oklahomans, pennsylvanians to get the price even a little higher. Of course I would. The Saudis will too.

  • Halc√≥n Resources: East Texas Eagle Ford Update - November 2014 [View article]
    Dear Mr Zeits
An excellent article. Thank you. Your expertise is great. My question is across all these plays in this lower price situation which companies would you buy and which would you sell. I have a lot of oil stocks and am considering some changes adding and decreasing.

  • Should I Short The Nasdaq? [View article]
I am currently, as of today short es s&p mini and nq nasdek about 80m. The market is too high and I am long a lot of legacy stocks I would sell if there were no tax ramifications. I am only short 20% of my portfolio but plan to go full short es and nq equally. And then net short.
We are only one case of ebola away from a thousand to two thousand point move in the dow, 400 in s&p, and 1000+ nq move in one day. After that the deluge. LOUIS THE 14 OR 15TH SAID APRES MOI LE DELUGE.
Movies, restaurants will close. Disneyland and there equivalents also.CHIPOTE, carnival, home depot.Under armor, want to try on cloths typhoid Mary tried on.Marys room is half off on carnival a place already infaous for epidemics.
Travel will stop, Look out airlines, Hotels. Restaurants probably terrible.
Las Vegas casinos, the worst. Ebola possibly coated chips, money, machines, handles. Fast food restaurants with "Typhoid" Mary [I meant "Ebola Mary"] touching food, utensils, money, cash register, tables, door handles, everything.Even doctors offices, elective hospital surgery will stop cold.
You are reading this and probably think I'm a nut. I was a preventative medical officer in the us army and have been a physician for 40 years and a successful investor. Get out or get hedged as soon as possible, I have. The end of this inflated market is near. What if I'm wrong. What will you lose but another 10% percent going to more ridiculous levels.Remember in 1929 the market lost 89+%.

  • What Does Encana's Acquisition Say About The Return Potential Of Its Existing Asset Base? [View article]
    Dear Mr Zeits,
Thank you four excellent analysis, as usual.
What is the implication of value implied by this purchase, for say PXD which has 6X the land and 6X flowing barrels not to mention other plays [eagle ford] and their own service company also?

  • Commodities Today: Potential Takeover Targets In The Energy Sector [View article]
The obvious target is PXD. The cap is 30B vs. 7B. The debt is 2.7 vs.1.2. Flowing barrels 183,000 vs. 30,000 per day. [ 6.1 X.] Acreage in permian is 825,000 vs. 140,000 [6x] probably better acreage. That is not to mention huge Eagle ford acreage, way bigger than athl alone as a stand company, not to mention there own oil service and completion company. Based on the takeover bid PXD is worth roughly 400.00 per share!

Compliments to the author. The question of being in too many markets was something that I never thought about. Could you consider addressing this question with respect to tesla. They seem to be trying for every market.

  • Do Analysts Know How To Value Ford And GM? [View article]
    Dear Mr. Steinberg
My compliments to you for authoring this excellent and insightful article. I have been pondering this exact subject for some time. I wonder if you have ever turned your obvious skills to comparing these companies to Tesla. Would BMW or Toyota be a better comparison in analysing Tsla ? Thanks again.

  • USDA Weekly Exports: Wheat Sales Hit Marketing Year Low [View article]
Dear Mr Schober, I read and admire your work. I feel we are missing something with this number as market reaction is quite variable. Maybe this number is telling us the price or shipping is too high or alternatives are cheaper or closer. I am a commodity speculator and am trying to better my understanding of why the markets react as they do. Have you though about these things and have anything to add. Sincerely warren heller
