  • 2 Stocks To Buy, 1 Stock To Sell, What's Next For The Market [View article]
What REALLY bugs me about the PG "positive spin" is that the overall market is at or near record highs and PG is selling at or near its 52 week high. Yet, "The Oxen Group" tells us to "wait" for a break above $78. What does this offer? Are we to interpret this event (i.e., break above $78) to mean that there are still enough "eager fools" around to push PG significantly higher?

PG would be a "better investment" if you wait for it to break above $100 - no wait, make that $200. In fact, the higher price at which you buy PG the better off you will be.

I personally am looking for someone who is willing to sell his/her PG shares at $300 per share in a private transaction.

I am short PG. Thank you for your "help." I will cover at $60 "or" higher. Say, $75.

Since you have no position, why do you offer such an analysis? Just "take a position" and make money!!!!!!

    "Fiscal cliff."

    What a bunch of baloney.

Of course the pandering politicians are not going to let the USA go over a "fiscal cliff."

What would happen if they did? The worse thing imaginable. The only thing these pandering goofs really care about.

The sorry goofs would be voted out of office. Are they going to let that happen? Only when hell freezes over.

  • General Electric: A Potential 53% In 5 Months With This Low Risk Strategy [View article]
Play this strategy for several months ON PAPER and observe what happens.

Things to notice: the buy-sell spreads on each option, what happens to the premium on the further out strike price versus the rate of decline in the premium on the strike price that you sold, the commissions, and what kind of "stock action" that occurs around expiration time.

There is no doubt the bull put spread 'works' IF the stock price runs up. But if it "hangs around" the strike price that you sold, there may be another problem - you may become "unnerved." Obviously, if the stock price goes down, there goes the "53% profit" in 5 months" and some of your principal.

    Any other ideasTactical Investor?

CLF raised its dividend earlier this year and NOW you are talking about an "inevitable" dividend cut. Does that strike anyone as odd?

Dividend Kings is talking about Freeport-McMoran. Before you pay any attention, take a look at the comments Dividend Kings made about FCX earlier this year.

Why "seekingalpha" allows this stuff escapes me.

    Ry Frank Published:

4-20-2012: FCX Likely to Break 52-Week High in 2013

4-18-2012: FCX's Long-Term Prospects Not Reflected in Short Term

4-11-2012: FCX Will Leap Significantly Higher

4-9-2012: Falling Gold Prices Will Hurt FCX

And now Ry Frank offers his latest "insight." What is going on? What is the "agenda?" What are the "motivations" for all of this "changing insight?"

Security concerns have existed for years at FCX's foreign mines. Am I the only commenter "wondering" about this? Are Ry Frank's articles designed to offer "insight" or to "churn" FCX's stock? People are allowed to change their minds - but every "two minutes?" There is something called "commissions" and "you cannot time the market."
