I did these upgrades myself. They were really easy to install. If you look at PC other then HDD and Ram there isn't much a common user can upgrade. So you do have freedom to choice with Mac.

We were there to look for new Macbook Air. anybody saying that the demand is weakness is living in a denial. I did not see such crowd around PC or android tablets in Best Buy.
