  • Indian Market Correction Offers a Buying Opportunity [View article]
As a side note, why is the PE of INDY (India Nifty 50 Index Fund) 28??

How can there be such a difference between INDY and EPI?

I went to the WisdomTree website and indeed the current PE of the index is about 12.8.
    Good call.

P/E of EPI is 25. Hardly a buying opportunity.

S&P 500 could go as high as 3,000. Pick your number.
Predictions like these are meaningless as long as a target for the dollar has not been named.
Sure the Dow could go to 30,000. But in that case I think the dollar index will be below 70.

Indeed, Van Eck lists a P/E 16. Very high. Maybe go with TRF instead?

    Logic behind Japanese Equities:

    1) 20+ year bear market, longest in history
    2) Unloved, Ignored, zero mainstream media coverage (except negative)
    3) Decent valuations
    4) Strong corporate ethics
    5) High quality goods and services
    6) Overvalued bond market

    The question is which market...
Dow keeps going up, emerging markets crumble. Interesting "decoupling". I think something is not right, but I'm not sure what it is.

I am 50% cash, apart from gold, gold junior stocks, agri commodities, and Japanese equities.

  • Beware Safe Haven Trades: Treasuries and the Dollar About to Collapse? [View article]
As a side note, I don't think TBT is the right choice to indirectly short the 20+ year bond. It inherently decays for reasons well known.
A better deal is to short UBT (ProShares Ultra 20+ Treasury) to capture the decay AND the Treasury bear. Or perhaps buy LEAP puts on TLT.

Who cares about direct/indirect. It's all FED. Either via domestic banks, Caribbean banking centers, or the puppets at the BOE/ECB.
