    Yes....and don't forget CEF's. There is more than one way to skin a cat. I personally diversify amongst many securities and many strategies. I own Reits, Bdc's and Cef's in my wife's and my Roth IRAs. They compound nicely with distributions reinvested. My largest holdings are the dividend growth stocks discussed on SA ad nauseum but these high yield securities compound nicely, especially in a tax advantaged account and they contribute to our ever rising monthly income.

    As one seeks to diversify into the health care sector JNJ is a no-brainer core holding. This is especially so if one is a dividend growth investor as the health care space is not as crowded as some of the other sectors. By year end it will be my largest holding.
