    Not sure your thoughts on XLU is correct. Earnings hit for the utilities come later in a down cycle. Expect it in the next couple of quarters. As the earnings for 4th quarter rolls in we will start to see the stocks getting hit. By the time the recession ends, XLU's fall will come close to the 40% of the broader market.
