  • Apple: Keep Calm And Watch Others Flop [View article]
Official China news outlet has article talking about 4G release on December 18. States that: "Apple Inc is also set to introduce iPhones supporting the 4G network in China, industry insiders said. The US giant and China Mobile are in negotiations over the 4G iPhone and they will launch it officially on December 18."

Maybe it's a confusion in translation but also could be an accepted outcome within official China?

  • Apple Beats But Treated As Second Class [View article]
Despite a plan by Apple to offer more "realistic" guidance, it seems to me that they still have a tendency to lowball this guidance. It seems also a precedent set that Apple will offer modified guidance mid quarter once something significant occurs (such as 9M phones in release weekend). My premise this will occur sometime this quarter after a China Monile announcement. I also think that this announcement will be made by China Mobile and not Apple. Not that this realy matters who makes the announcement but I think that mark stay have been expecting (hoping) that this occurred with Apple earnings. I think China Mobile imminent as they had a weak quarter and they need to get on this sooner not later, just that they are still trying to squeeze some more than current pricing concessions. Maybe this occurs with an overall global dropping of 5C pricing (in my opinion initially priced too high). This gives a victory for China Monile and also a reason for Apple to correct this pricing without losing too much face while waiting sufficent time to overcome complaints from initial purchasers of 5C. Seems like China market is recovering quite well and I think this market currently highly skewed to 5S and this remains a husky desirable status item, even more a reason that China Mobile needs to get onboard. Not sure why Apple has this propensity to lowball (maybe to keep prices in check whilemtheynare still in the share purchase business?). But seems like there will be some opportunities for raised guidance (China Mobile or even a good opening weekend for the iPad Air and/or whenever they release the Mini retina)

  • Short-Term Sell Signal On Apple [View article]
I forgot to mention earlier (and speaking of gobbledygook), this is from your article: "As an example, at present the algorithm is assigning zero weight to traditional fundamental criteria such as price earnings ratio, growth rate, price sales ratio, book value, etc. The reason is because the algorithm has determined, based on the trading history of Apple, that these factors are not correlated to the stock price."

All of those factors are EXTREMELY related to stock price. For AAPL and every other equity in the world. How does an algorithm determine those factors are not correlated (when factually they are) unless the author of the algorithm makes that rather wild assumption in the first place?

As someone mentioned earlier, show your list of previous buy/sell signals on AAPL to show your gobbledygook algorithm works and works consistently. I wish I could short you. Actually probably would work to subscribe to your service and do the opposite of what a mush like you advises.

  • Short-Term Sell Signal On Apple [View article]
People bought the 4S because it was the new apple iPhone. No one bought it because of Siri. Siri was a novelty when it came out and still is. AAPL fundamentals, highest global product preference, extremely great margins and ever growing revenue and EARNINGS drive this issue. Your analysis that the stock is due for a correction with sayings like investors and analysts are highly inductive and don't take into consideration that earnings projections were based on Siri show you are rather simple minded in your analysis ( not to mention factually incorrect). But good call getting out at 525. Now pay taxes on your gains and have to buy it back in the 500+ range as you have said it is on its way to 1000. Although that will be a slow and steady ride more suitable for prudent and patient investors
