Is Anyone Using Chrome?

Nice piece!
I have been using Firefox for a long long while and switch to Safari 3 and then Safari 4 and stayed with it. It is fast and reliable and I use it both on my Mac and PC computers.
As to the Google Analytics stats showing in this article, they are really not a clear representation of the market.

In SeekingAlpha we see more than 50% IE users and have a little more than 3% of Chrome users.

3% is A LOT for a browser that young!

It seems sometimes that either everyone is waiting to see what Apple is doing and then to copy them or that Apple is copying so well from everyone that it seems like they invented the wheel.

I am an Apple addict but I have to say it's getting boring without real competition (I am passionately waiting to the new Palm Pre).

My common sense tells me to keep following Apple.
If they will keep the spirit of innovation and usability with NEW PRODUCTS that rewrite the game rules for the entire industry then we will know that someone there knows what we think is Steve's job, well enough.

During the last few years we've seen hackers from all around the world installing Apple OS X on practically everything that has a CPU.

Is it the time for Apple to open their amazing OS to other hardware platforms? I wonder what it would do the PC market if users could choose it.
