Split stock and increase the div we`re back in business.
Mark Zuckerberg kicks off Facebook's (FB -0.8%) event by introducing Graph Search, a tool that allows users to make queries related to shared content. One shown example: a search for college friends who live in San Francisco. Map/photo search support is included, and there are probably some opportunities for search ads that can also leverage other Facebook data. Google (GOOG +1.3%) investors don't seem concerned - the search giant's shares have actually ticked higher. (live blog) (PR) [View news story]

Apple (AAPL -2.3%) has tumbled below $500 following Nomura's big PT cut. Multi-Fineline's (MFLX -20.3%) warning also might not be going over well. Nomura backs up the WSJ and Nikkei's reports by stating its own checks indicate weaker-than-expected iPhone 5 sales; it now expects 48M sales in FQ1, and 39M in FQ2, but is raising its iPad forecasts. Echoing a recent CLSA note, Nomura thinks Android's Asian dominance has become a problem for Apple. Sterne Agee, meanwhile, believes all is well. [View news story]
it`s same story as last year and then boom the stock goes to $700...
Agree. Although I`m looking for a new TV and LG and Samsung look very good. I got an old Bravia and happy with it. Own a first gen ipod (a gift) but the sound quality is terrible and don`t get me on itunes. Although I love aapl shares.
As for PS3 motion sensors outperform XBOX by a lot. PS3 seems more realistic and XBOX more advanced Wii. I don`t own neither, just play occasionally at my friends.
Apple (AAPL) is taking it on the chin again this morning as chatter about weak iPhone 5 demand in China, and UBS taking its price target on the stock down to $700 from $780 has the shares off 2.2% premarket. [View news story]
not a fan of aapl products but the stock is great for trades... Solid company so when it falls it`s just a good buy because fundamentals are great.
Zynga (ZNGA) -11.1% AH after disclosing it has amended its agreement with Facebook (FB). The most worrisome line: "Facebook will no longer be prohibited from developing its own games." Facebook has said it's not interested in being a game developer, but as of March 31, 2013, it won't be legally obligated on that count. The amendment also frees Zynga of the obligation to display Facebook ads or use Facebook credits on Zynga.com and other company properties, and of having Facebook be its "exclusive social platform." Coffee Is Not Tea, But Starbucks Buys Teavana Anyway [View article]
In the long run they`ll do well. Tea is the new coffee, even if I only spent half of my monthly tea budget it`s more then me getting a coffee @ Sturbucks twice a day. That`s the only reason I don`t go to SBUX more often, because I`m not a coffee drinker, I do like espresso based drinks but tea is healthy. Having better tea selection it`ll sure bring me (my family and friends) in more often. Just look at what SBUX has done to coffee, I`m sure it`ll do to tea.
Zynga (ZNGA) warns it expects 2012 bookings of $1.085B-$1.1B, below already lowered guidance of $1.15B-$1.225B. The company expects Q3 revenue to reach $300M-$305M (above a $275.9M consensus), but forecasts bookings will amount to just $250M-$255M. Zynga blames weakness in games within its web "invest and express" category (e.g. FarmVille, CityVille). Also, an $85M-$95M write-down is being taken on the OMGPOP acquisition. Shares are halted, and will resume trading at 5.05PM ET. [View news story]
