DON'T bother with all the funnymentals. Look at the charts. 3 more weeks of selling until we are oversold. wiggle and squiggle we will but lower we go. Then it may be time to buy again. I'm day trading earnings calls. Here are 3 companies that had ok earnings... AA PIR FAST ... tell me how many stayed up in price? NONE! People have made a lot of money long this market and they have learned a lesson from the past... take profits... so the shorts will pressure those long to sell now or sell for less later.

Is this a SPOOF? Selling shares in a company that earns and provides a valuable service to the world vs. a company that cares nothing about earning and mostly serves discretionary spending. Is this a SPOOF or is this for real?

Did you take a look at the growth in the stock? The biggest growth AMZN is seeing right now is the amount of DEBT it is holding on its books. LT DEBT has grown on AMZN books to the tune of $5 BILLION and would not surprise me as the FCF dries up they ask for more debt. Will the market continue to finance this company at a reasonable rate? Or, will they have to start paying higher interest rates? I'm short AMZN and looking for sub $290 in the coming weeks.

PS. The last earnings saw the stock drop from $337 to $300. and then to $284 before bouncing off very oversold daily stochastics. The stock is now below a key pivot point of $324.50 and coming off overbought conditions. The likelihood it falls, like last time, is higher than the chance it bounces higher in the coming week. Below the last pivot low of $284 looks more likely (drop of $40) than a rise of $40 from here based on the technicals of the daily chart.

Stock stays below $324.50 over the next 3 days we most likely see much lower this coming week to start. Longer term we may just see this company collapse under its own weight with even a minor disruption in business as the balance sheet looks less than healthy.

I'm long AUG PUTS. Good luck trading.

  • Amazon: Profitless Prosperity [View article]
True dat. IF they are fully expensing capital investment as they make the investments they will be charged with profit/tax evasion and the stock will tank like never before. Clearly they are not doing this and there is some other reason for the lack of profits. IT is called competition and this competition is going to heat up this holiday season and this is why AMZN can't give any reasonable net income projection for this holiday. They projet -500m to +500m... just a tiny range of $1 Billion dollars. This stock seems like a ponzi scheme and congrats to all who are long this equity and have won but it will not last forever like any scheme like this.

IF the GIGA factory happens it will be the demise of TSLA which can't turn a profit now. This factory will require all the world's resources to run and then this will push the cost of electric cars up .. not down... plus, we have oil falling as economies are slowing. Perfect timing for TSLA to push harder.. just in time for the next recession. Business cycles are 7 to 10 years apart. This one is ending now as we hit 7yrs in a weak cycle.

Stay long TSLA and look out below.

Can you look back to the records and let us know the last time that AMZN missed or simply met expectations 5Q in a row? They just missed four of last five and the one they didn't miss was simply a meet .. not a beat. This according to your graph. When is the last time they did not beat expectations in 5Q in a row? This seems beyond awful to me.

look at a weekly chart of QQQ and you can see that this kind of correction happened twice in 2012 where it fell for 8 weeks until the FULL STO showed oversold. put up your weekly chart with the 13 26 and 52sma and you will see what the price did in respect to the averages this week. 3 more weeks of selling if you ask me...

    good luck trading.

  • Tesla Motors: Can Market-Makers' Price Expectations Help You Profit In This Stock? [View article]
WHERE I LIVE ... they burn gas to produce electricity so how on earth can electric be cheaper unless you have hydro power... and hydro power only works when the drought ends. Giving away fuel to your customers is not something other car companies do because it is a quick way to become broke. I'm short TSLA. I trade it on the short side and took short again today. WEEKLY topping candle and retrace completed.

  • Amazon: It Gets Weirder And Weirder [View article]
PAULO, a lot of large investors in AMZN from many years ago now want out and no one can sell large blocks of shares on bad news. So, simply recycle good news and slowly bail so that the price is little affected. Doesn't help us who are wagering on a price decline. This is the market we are given and must do our best to play along to profit. Below $338 is bearish as this is the 61,8% retrace from the earnings move lower. However, hovering about at this level for months won't help puts ... lol.

    Good luck trading!

  • Amazon Is Not Overvalued - It's Still A Startup With Practically Boundless Opportunity [View article]
AMZN was one of the weakest stocks today. Of course the author took the time to write this... Of course he has no position but has the time to write this bs. AMZN, on the weekly chart hit the 52sma. This is the 52 week average or the average price paid for the year. Closed below it on a hot market day. Very bullish LOL.

WEEKLY CHART ... BBRY looks like a bull flag with a breakout and now a backtest. 58RSI on the weekly is very strong for a blowup of all the shorts. Top of FLAG is week of JAN 22 to top of the WEEKLY candle on APR 22. Looks like $15 is support now. Sadly i had the shares just over $6 but unloaded them already. Think this is another great setup and will re-enter.

    No position at this time.

I SHORT TERM TRADE TSLA PUTS... I SOLD on a break of $278 expecting an hour or so bounce. One other thing ... OIL softening and economic growth stalling will hurt them too. Finally, this ridiculous pipe dream giga factory with money they don't have and a payback time dream if it should happen.

Currently have no position... but will execute PUT position again early Monday based on the 1 hour and 15min chart stochastics coming off oversold and the 5min chart becoming overbought.

    Good luck trading.

  • Why I'm Staying Away From A Long-Term Investment In Tesla [View article]
What matters in trading is what happens tomorrow and not what happened. If you own TSLA at $264 and do not sell and it goes to $250 you missed an opportunity to sell and buy cheaper no matter what you paid. Also, if you don't sell this and buy that you miss the boat too. Don't worry about what you paid but where the stock is headed. Right now it is in a short term down-trend and I've shorted at $264.40 and looking for $240ish ... see what happens.. .but this is what my chart says until it says different. I will then cover my short and go long.

The author speaks of trading the stock and not buying holding hoping and praying and never considering the price action ahead.

    Good luck trading/investing.

  • One Thing Is Odd [View article]
AMZN trades mostly technical. So the gap down and move lower has made a perfect 61.8% retrace at $338 ... the next move is likely lower as I watched it trade all day and the buying dried right up above $335. The selling got panicky at $335.40 ...
