Thanks for providing a great service to all AAPL investors with your calm, thoughtful, fact-based, and insightful postings. We value your voice of reason that counterbalances a lot of less-informed, emotional, and self-interested calls to cease believing in an outstanding company that has many fine years ahead.
Made in IBM Labs: IBM scientists unveil prototype that will put 'Smart mobility' into maintenance, repairs and operations [View article]
I am intrigued by the many innovative and sensible efficiencies that IBM is creating that embed it in an amazing array of business and governmental processes.
CSX Corporation: All Aboard - This Train Is Leaving The Station [View article]
Thanks for a clear, fair-minded, and detailed article to support your positive outlook for CSX. To me, expanding use of coal in Europe and China would be, at best, a slim advantage against the proven health risks of burning coal. It is already possible to detect particulate matter from China in California's air, and the more coal China consumes with its negligible concern for environmental safety, the more people will be getting sick and dying from avoidable air pollution. No matter how much I can earn from investing, it will be a tiny contribution to my health costs if I get lung cancer. I prefer to focus on long-term success for CSX built on alternative products that will be shipped as the economy improves and expands.

This sounds like a continuation of the plan that Siemens agreed to and has executed well after finding a new CEO to restructure a company demoralized by a costly international bribery debacle. The story is partially told in the following link: http://bit.ly/Zqbol5
Chicago Bridge & Iron: A Charged-Up Infrastructure Play [View article]

Your point is well-taken, and lots of investors agree even if they do not write a comment here. Warren Buffet's different, highly persuasive, case, reinforces yours.
This was a good and reasonable case for staying with IBM even though it's near its high. Based on more than twenty analysts on the F.A.S.T.Graphs site , IBM will grow at over 10%/year for the next five years, and its target price in 2018 will be over $400.
