Why Apple's Brand And Product Quality Make The Stock A Strong Buy [View article]
Thanks for making a nicely detailed and perceptive case. Some people seem so pre-occupied with fear that Apple's margins may drop that they miss the larger picture that Apple is likely to enjoy huge sales and profits for a long, long time. I'm glad that you posted this!
Apple, Samsung And Irrational Pessimism [View article]
Thanks, Paul, for a fair-minded article. I respectfully disagree only with your claim, "Optimism surrounding the company has vanished ..." There are lots of us, I judge, who believe that in the long run, our investments in AAPL will pay off handsomely. The company is in very good shape, and the market will correct in its own good time. If Apple were not making excellent, popular devices as well as huge amounts of money, I would be cowed, too, by the drop in share price. Patience seems to be in short supply in the stock market, political affairs, and domestic and international dispute/conflict resolution. Your article helpfully reminds us that getting to the truth takes careful reading and thought.

Thanks for a nicely balanced and detailed assessment that illuminates some of the banking sector, in general, while effectively advocating for the Wells Fargo Bank and its stock.
Leave Apple's Cash Alone - It Will Need It Soon [View article]
I enjoyed this perceptive assessment and I share your sense that Apple is best able to determine how to use its cash most effectively. Investors are hurting, and annoyed, and impatient, but they can be won back if Apple makes the smart play you describe.

Thanks for the interesting and well-documented assessment of CNI. Also a fan of Canada, CNI, and Downton Abbey, I think I'll investigate the "Best Stocks Now" application, too.

Rentech Nitrogen Partners - Do The Opposite Of What Dahlman Rose Recommends [View article]
Thanks for your detailed posting. I don't know on what basis Dahlman Rose changed its rating, but its record on RNF suggests churning. F.A.S.T.Graphs shows RNF's current price is way below its earnings-justified valuation in a year of huge projected growth and with the growth rate continuing at over 12% per year for the next five years. I have tripled my holding.
"[p]eople forget that tech stocks are all about who's got the most glam." I usually enjoy your postings, Ashraf, but when you start from such a ludicrous premise, there's little chance of salvaging an article.
