Thanks for providing a great service to all AAPL investors with your calm, thoughtful, fact-based, and insightful postings. We value your voice of reason that counterbalances a lot of less-informed, emotional, and self-interested calls to cease believing in an outstanding company that has many fine years ahead.

Thanks for a good article. Another probably powerfully appealing element for Apple customers from this new acquisition will be the ability to locate people they know -- whether in a crowded social setting or outdoors.
I appreciate your detailed look at Apple's likely performance for the March quarter and beyond. While the temporary outlook may discourage some shareholders, those who stay invested or who seize the opportunity to buy will be fortunate.
Apple's Living Room Strategy Can Conquer Gaming [View article]
Your idea is interesting. Not only could Apple enter the gaming arena in a big way, it could probably introduce millions of non-gamers to the industry -- thus expanding the market. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for a very sensible and perceptive article that refocuses attention on Apple's strong, continuing prospects. I believe that investors' cries for increasing shareholder value are being heard, yet I would not be investing in AAPL if the company were overly concerned with anything other than what it considers best for the corporation for the long term.
Why Apple's Brand And Product Quality Make The Stock A Strong Buy [View article]
Thanks for making a nicely detailed and perceptive case. Some people seem so pre-occupied with fear that Apple's margins may drop that they miss the larger picture that Apple is likely to enjoy huge sales and profits for a long, long time. I'm glad that you posted this!
Apple, Samsung And Irrational Pessimism [View article]
Thanks, Paul, for a fair-minded article. I respectfully disagree only with your claim, "Optimism surrounding the company has vanished ..." There are lots of us, I judge, who believe that in the long run, our investments in AAPL will pay off handsomely. The company is in very good shape, and the market will correct in its own good time. If Apple were not making excellent, popular devices as well as huge amounts of money, I would be cowed, too, by the drop in share price. Patience seems to be in short supply in the stock market, political affairs, and domestic and international dispute/conflict resolution. Your article helpfully reminds us that getting to the truth takes careful reading and thought.
Leave Apple's Cash Alone - It Will Need It Soon [View article]
I enjoyed this perceptive assessment and I share your sense that Apple is best able to determine how to use its cash most effectively. Investors are hurting, and annoyed, and impatient, but they can be won back if Apple makes the smart play you describe.

Your analysis is welcome and compelling, and thanks for setting out the assessment so clearly and candidly. I share your plan to hold for the long term.
