  • Breaking The PR Mold For Apple Watch [View article]
With Apple's understandable concern about avoiding leaked information, producing commercials in-house seems a smart step. They have hired enough people with high-end product experience to have a good foundation for their own department.

"the market already is discounting this news as they probably believe that Chinese handset makers can easily catch up to AAPL."

A guess turned by magic into a probability.

  • Breaking The PR Mold For Apple Watch [View article]
I like your article and agree that Apple is playing a highly targeted, long game in the process of making tech more appreciated and widely admired and sought-after. It was not so long ago that numerous commenters were grumbling about how Apple was no longer producing the "wow" products. I suspect that there are many more substantial projects underway that will continue Apple's working effectively to reach high-end customers without turning its back on mainstream clients.

  • Here's Why Hedge Funds Are Expecting Apple To Crush Earnings Estimates [View article]
I appreciate your commentary about Estimize analysts and the differences in their versus Wall Street APPLE projections. Is anything further known about the JSHOE analyst's approach to account for his very low error rate in an industry that seems afloat in problems and inconsistency?

  • Apple, Starbucks, Fiat Caught In EU State Aid Investigation [View article]
I appreciate your acknowledging that Apple will continue to be in good shape, but I take issue with your title. The EU is investigating countries that appear to be charging unfairly low taxes -- Apple is mentioned only because it pays a 2% tax in Ireland.

  • Apple And Skyworks Are Both Heading Skyward [View article]
I suspect that there are other implications, as well, for interconnectedness. One could involve wearables with alarm sensors that signal medical problems/issues to alert other(s) in the family, for instance, if someone suffers a sudden drop in blood pressure, is running a fever, or becomes unconscious. The sky's the limit ...

  • Digesting WWDC: Cloudy [View article]
Thanks for a very interesting and well-written posting that I found helpful in understanding and appreciating Apple's developing technical structure and its stance vis a vis android and Google. I especially appreciated your objectivity and your clarity in expressing some (to me) complex functions and parallels.

  • Why Buying Beats Audio Is A Good Deal For Apple [View article]
I think that the article's analysis is perceptive. Even though Apple could acquire a maker of better headphones, it can also use its supplier chain to make its acquired headphones cheaper to manufacture while using its technical expertise to make the headphones much better and completely in sync with Apple products. While it seems that Apple could have bought a suitable company for less, I'm convinced that Apple looks carefully at its acquisitions and probably has sound reasons for the purchase.

  • Evidence That Apple Intends To Start Mobile Payment Processing [View article]
Your good article sets out a credible scenario for Apple's making its way into a fast-growing and lucrative industry. I agree that iBeacons looks like a good prospect for at least part of the mobile payments initiative. Holding AAPL is not for the faint-hearted, but there are lots of signs that Apple is just getting started in productive creativity. For the long-term, the prospects look great.
