    Well said. But I don't believe in going backwards when it comes to technology. Just think, if you want more performance, but still not up to the Pro's standard, you have to pay over 3 grand. My God! For 3 grand I can have the Aston Martin of the computer world with a souped up Pro.

    I'm a retired business man. I have flown 1st class for 30 years and I only fly 1st class. I'm Platinum for life on American with over 2,000,000 miles. My garage has a new Mercedes S550 and a BMW 750i. One for comfort, one for performance.
    If you want comfort, you get an Air. I want performance so I'll stick with my Pro, even if I'm the only one in 1st class with one.

    I'm not trying to be a smart ass here. Please look at Apples history of computers. Every new generation is faster with more memory and more features. Without exception. Until the Air. It has less memory, it is slower and it doesn't have all of the Pro's features. I don't care that I have an extra 3 lbs. to carry. When I turn the key I want to get to 60 as fast as I can and enjoy the ride!

    Has anyone read the April Macworld issue? They noted two advantages for the MacBook Air...thin and light. Beyond that it pales in comparison to the MacBook Pro!
    I guess Apple was due for a turkey! I'll stick with my Pro.
