Why not put SDRL in both your taxed and non-taxed accounts? Why would you be concerned?

I try to buy at a "reasonable" price and then watch the price intently so I can average down. Too many times I have looked at a stock's price and thought it too high to buy only to discover months later that it continued to go up.

But if you reinvest your dividends, you'll have round up again and again.

Yes, they stated an "expected" dividend of 5 cents a share/month.

5/100s of a cent would surely lead to many heart failures!

Traded in my AGNC this week and put mostly into NLY with a bit into MTGE. Don't know if I'll go back into AGNC after 30 days.

I'll bet the shorters have made a lot of money in the last few days. They scared me into selling at a small profit.

I'll also bet that when the dust settles, VJET will be regarded as a viable company but one of the riskier 3D stocks in the short term. The scare was probably over-done.

You could always buy an existing or construct your own BDC "motif" at motifinvesting.com -- there are already some there. One is up 6.4% since the end of June, but FULL is one of the six BDCs in that motif.

Lady Di, looks like you're hell-bent on spreading what's likely a false rumor.

Getting a lot of cheap ARR shares?

Hmmm! If you go to The Street, Cramer's website, the article written about a week before NLY, ARR, AGNC, etc. cut their dividends, is entitled "Hold These Top 3 Hold-Rated Dividend Stocks Today: BMR, ARR, EEP."

Forensic accountant? Nice try. Lady Di!

Since ARR has been joined by NLY, MTGE and AGNC in reducing dividends, it looks as though the sector in general is finding difficulty navigating the current interest rate environment. Will ARR perform any better or worse than the others? At least, with DRIP, my lower dividends are buying lower priced shares that will appreciate when things finally settle down.

The author of that article points out in the comments how ARR and Bimini are different animals. "4) Bimini was different because they were a 100% agency paper MREIT. The current ARR leadership chose to go non-agency with Bimini."
