  • What Does European Banking Union Mean? [View article]
    What does it mean?

That bankers have taken over the govt's.
Bankers believe that they are the most important link in the economy. and when bankers rule, all they talk about is banks.
In effect they try to create their own Euro Bank Govt to by-pass their own individual govt's.

We have to wake up and understand that banks are the problem not the solution. Out-law all the "derivatives", shorts, "synthetic tools" and soem other of theBanks' "great inventions" which destroy the investment environment.

And....throw the bad apples in this industry to jail for a long time
    Break up the big Dimon-Banks

The thing is that only depressed people are being interviewed on TV.
All kinds of PIMCO suicidal types

Media has created the norm where good news is no news, but every "disturbing pictures" is getting the stage with the roll-of-the-eyes of Reaganovitch and Friends

  • Mellanox On The Road To Technological Obsolescence [View article]
Do you really think that you are smarter than everyone in MLNX?
Do you think you understand the technology better than all of them?
They have proven already that they have some very smart people with very specific expertise, and a qualified management... until now. There is no consideration for these issues in your analysis.
Do you think that even if you have valid points, they haven't thought about this?
and... they are doing it 50+ hours a weeks, for a living. How many hours have you spent which makes you think you know better where they are, what their plans are, and where they are headed, and what are their chances there?

You have to understand - ALL the analysts know very little about what they are writing, compared with whom they write about.

Neither you nor I know what their plans are...
They could disappear in 3 years, or they could become the next CKP, DOX, TEVA, PRGO....
Don't bet against Israeli Hitek/Biotek, there are much better short bets around. You are invested in this topic. You're fixed on it.
Your readers are less so... and this is for them.

Let me just give you 1 thought...

The engineers in MLNX created their products. They are a small company in a closed campus in a small town.
What do you think they did this morning at work? Play Zinga?
My guess is that MLNX will open a bigger gap over a dinosaur like INTC. The product cycle in INTC is 90% management "strategic" meetings.

Just like all the samalysts think that the 10's of thousands of engineers in AAPL are playing ZInga all day.

Look at the history of GOOG when considering this aspect. Why did they bring back Page? and how are they doing since?

No... the crooks are Einhorn's wolf pack which got the HLF, NUS signal and dropped these very good stocks 50% within a week.
There has been NO statement of substance AT ALL.
(signal promoted aggressively by Bloomberg in real time)
Just - mark the target - and jump these stocks in the dark alley.
    Just 1 example.

Their timing was very suspect - now is the 1st earnings since this case. I bet you Einhorn-n-pack will cash-in their shorts on these a week before earnings.
The private investor has a tough choice - fight the pack and maybe see justice and potentially lose more-n-more ('cause we are small change to them), or give them your wallet and walk away.
I held on - and very glad I did

    These are the crooks.

Citron - with his dozens of fraud/manipulation cases in no Mother Teresa either.

And what about Muddy Waters? and China?
One has to be a real idiot to invest in Chinese stocks to start with.

MLNX has a private niche for at least 3 years !!!
All his competitions blabber is driver by his private short 1 day before earning, which will blow the top off.
He is looking for a little dip to escape his own short TODAY !!!

Will you be the one bailng him out?

I come from the tech side of this very industry - this guy has no clue !!!

The writer is 5% underwater with his short - 1 day before earnings (!!!!) which last Q came up 250% Y/Y and 34% above analyst expectations. (stock went 50+% up)

By shorting alongside this guy, you might ease his pain by taking some of the load on yourself.

The timing of this article shows panic of a shorter being squeezed.
All the rest is irrelevant. the guy has no clue in this field and makes false statements.

This writer shorted the stock about a month ago (according to his words here...), and has been pumping his "short' case.

Stock rose 5% since then , and maybe the short is running out of time
Eat your shorts - earning is coming up - my advice, again, cut your losses NOW !!! you greedy a$$
The timing of this article is NOT innocent

For every 5 failed young hardware co there is 1 CSCO/AAPL./QCOM/BRCM... which will give you a 100 fold... such trivial info is left out of this "analysis"

Time to put such "analysts" behind bars

and... outlaw all shorts. This is NOT what the stock market was created for, and is a hot bed for crooks

HLF has been around for over 30 years.
Cannot maintain a piramide this long without a collapse
Einhorn is a short-herder. There is a massive investment $ which acts on Einhorn's queue
Shorts should be banned. There is absolutely nothing which justifies the legality of this tool outside the greed of Wall st. and the opening for money-making-manipulat...

  • Let's Watch Amarin Get Crushed By Wall Street [View article]
Don't have a clue re AMRN (I am long for the longer ride)
Regarding VVUS and ARNA... Sold for a loss
Because tests have shown only 5% drop in body-weight when combined with exercise... so, after all the hype, I don't see many people sticking to it.
I also don't see how these 2 didn't get this important info all over the headlines-of-approval, rather than buried way down (where no one incl me, bothered to read)

  • Policy Failure: ZIRP, Bubbles, And How The Fed Has Cost Savers 9 Trillion In 11 Years [View article]
Consumers went through a massive de-leveraging sinec teh QE's started.
The image of "stuffing savings accounts" is an hallucination.
    Check the figures...

This is a welcome process, and winds the spring for bullish consumer spending in the future, onc ethe consumer debt is low enough (lowest in 20 years, which is a very bullish sign moving forward)
Add to this a slight increase in home prices => more equity
and the economy is on it's way

You cannot base a full article based on a statement like "stuffing savings accounts", and get away with it.
    Not here

Those who really suffer from money printing are the financial institutions - banks, insurance.. and the off-shore money
My heart goes to Romney and Friends.

Doesn't mean I agree with Uncle Ben - he is just another banker.
And they are all very mediocre

I would certainly rather see infra-structure investment rather than bond-market-manipulation.

  • "Our goose is cooked," writes a mortgage trader, imagining a conversation at the trading desk of a pure GSE mREIT like Annaly (NLY). With MBS prices bid to all-time highs (thank you Fed) and refinances on the way up, mREITs face an ugly combination of lower yields and higher prepays. One solution: Unload their MBS at these high prices - tell the staff to take a long vacation - and wait for Bernanke to exit. [View news story]
The more negative a shmanalyst is - the more headlines these clueless get.
