Nice article and analysis on GSI. I would append to the article by noting that there are several more interesting Chinese steel companies that trade on US exchanges, albeit the OTCBB. These are SUOT.OB, PUDC.OB, and TNRO.OB. Of these three, SUOT seems to be the most deeply discounted based on EPS and growth rate.
