Private investor. Interested in resources, pharma, banking, industrial stocks. All my research is solely for my own investments and to share with fellow investors my findings. None of my writings should be construed as an invitation to invest in the companies I write about. I share some ideas on stocks I like but I gain more from reading other authors work. I find the comments section very useful where knowledgeable readers can home in on the salient points.
I'm an American (EEUU) by birth, but certainly a mutt by ethnicity. I prefer the Southern Hemisphere nowadays, and I try to spend time on at least 3 continents per year, in more than a few different countries. While there I explore intriguing social, investment, business and lifestyle opportunities.
I've been involved in everything from hydroponic farming operations in the tropics, to Internet marketing. I've tried my hand as a "professional" stock trader, financed start-ups, traded bananas in Peru, real estate in Panama, high-finance in Uruguay and worked with one of the first Vietnamese companies to list its shares publicly.
I enjoy travel, but much prefer the Four Season’s to a hut among the natives – unless they’re friendly. I plan to continue traveling, exploring and digesting as much culture and diversity as I can handle. My next adventure will likely be a small, self-sustaining community somewhere far away from the madness that is most of the world. If you’re lucky I’ll tell you where it is.
Capitalist Exploits is a team of globe-trotting professionals dedicated to seeking out and investing into unique, undiscovered, and profitable opportunities worldwide. This could be an asymmetric trading opportunity in the global currency markets, seeding a tech startup in Israel, or co-investing into a bespoke private equity deal in Ghana!
Our team lives and spends time in several different countries, on several different continents. Although we all come from different cultural backgrounds and parts of this great ball of dirt hurtling through space, in today’s world this matters little, as our values and mission are all aligned.

I have an insatiable desire to learn and I believe there are so many intelligent contributors on SA to learn from. My passion is to build a lifetime following from my clients. It's not about the money; it's about building legacies, fulfilling dreams, achieving and maintaining the lifestyles we aspire for.
I write about emerging and frontier markets in Asia. I now primarily contribute work to Forbes Asia. My most recent work and my complete bio can be found on Forbes Asia's site:

I would like to thank Seeking Alpha's editorial staff for giving me a start in this profession. In particular I would like to thank George Moriarty and Eli Hoffman.
I will contribute still to Seeking Alpha from time to time as the opportunity presents itself.
