  • Market recap: Stocks closed out their strongest January in 15 years on a tepid note after a series of disappointing economic reports (I, II, III). Yet stocks crawled back from early losses, repeating the frequent pattern of recent days. Financials were boosted by optimism from Europe, but Exxon's mediocre Q4 hurt energy shares. Treasury yields neared four-month lows. NYSE winners led losers seven to six.  [View news story]

  • 5 months after a Merrill analyst compared Tesla Motors (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk to Steve Jobs, Jefferies' Jesse Pichel effectively declares Tesla to be the Apple of automakers. Pichel asserts Tesla's cars offer better range and performance than competing electric vehicles, and considers its Model S to be competitively priced relative to other luxury sedans. He also thinks its shares could be ripe for a short squeeze.  [View news story]
Nissan and Toyoata etc... are all using Tesla's technology in their EV's. So Tesla makes money whether it's their EV or other companies EV. With that said have you even seen the Model S? The Model X (SUV) is being unveiled february 9th. These are both major catalysts for Tesla.

  • Wedbush comes to Electronic Arts' (EA +0.9%) defense following a cautious note from Brean Murray, which expressed concerns about subscriber growth for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Wedbush believes EA managed to sell 2M copies of the game into the channel in calendar Q4 (with 1.7M reaching consumers), a figure that's in-line with its forecast.  [View news story]

I'm pretty sure Mass Effect 3 will be a massive catalyst launch for EA going forward. We all know this $18 stock price on EA is super low and that it's a buy. Going to ride it back up to $25 like it was a few weeks ago.

AC is what comes through to your house, it converts to DC when you charge or power something like and ipod or a television. Without the superior AC current we wouldn't be able charge our devices because DC isn't efficient enough to send to everyone's homes like AC is.
