  • Not helping slumping Zynga (ZNGA -4%) shares is Macquarie analyst Ben Schachter launching coverage at Neutral despite his bullish take on video games moving online. Especially troubling, he says, is that only a relatively small fraction of ZNGA's 150M monthly users actually pay for anything, making it dependent upon a limited group of high-spending “whales.”  [View news story]
it's not about the graphics, the graphics are just as good as any other web browser or iphone game. it's about the user experience

  • Zynga (ZNGA -2.2%) has had a rough week, and is making fresh post-IPO lows today. A possible culprit is a lack of enthusiasm for Zynga's just-launched Hidden Chronicles game. Paul Tassi notes the game bears a strong resemblance to Playdom's (DIS) wildly popular Gardens of Time, and sees it as evidence that Zynga "refuses to innovate in any way."  [View news story]

first... I mean, Zynga is more like a Lion. King of the social gaming jungle. And the male lion gets to sleep all day because it doesn't have to worry about predators. Much like how Zynga doesn't have to worry about competitors. The female lions go on the hunt and bring in a Gazelle. Zynga gets to feast on success every time it launches a new hit game.

Apple would never support any kind of gambling what so ever. If you think that then you truly don't understand Apple.

Apple needs their Steve Jobs/Walt Disney visionary leading the company. Preferably more Steve than Walt considering the anti-semitism.

The question is, does Tim Cook have his own crazy vision for Apple and is he willing to be a douche about it to make Apple great just like Steve was or is Tim just a CEO on auto pilot?

  • Why Are Sirius XM Investors So Emotional? [View article]
what I meant is that every time siri moves just by 1 cent, if you have 2,500 shares you either make 25 dollars or lose 25. it's more likely for young home gamers to not have 2,500 shares in Apple so siri swinging by 1 cent is a big deal. a bigger deal that if apple moved by 1 cent if someone only had 12 shares of apple. I agree with everything Dialectical Materialist said above. I am not one of those people who trades like that. I just meant to say that I am psychologically more invested because 1 cent is a big deal for young (23 year old) home gamers in sirius.

If you wanted to keep the conversation low key, you wouldn't have taunted me in french to begin with. It's also rude to talk to people not in their native tongue.

Considering your article has a bullish tone to it why can I not simply comment my feeling towards that.

Also since when do comments on the internet have to add any substance towards an article. And why do they have to because you say so? (my comment had substance and was conversational, and was supportive of the tone of the article). Comments are all just "comments". It's not the conversation section, it's the comment section.

With that said, I stand by my comment unlike how you stand by your bullish stance on Zynga.

i can tell you why I am emotional. Because at $1.80 per share you can own a whole lot of shares of siri if your a home-gamer like myself. That means either huge loses or big rewards. I'm still bullish on Siri for 2012
