UBS Swings to Big Q3 Loss; Should Return to Profitability in Q4

This story seems to be repeating itself. Another huge investment bank with years of collective corporate and banking experience ( www.newsvisual.com/new... ) yet no one seems to have had much experience in risk management or the hindsight that investing in people with bad credit is a bad idea.

UBS’ Q3 Loss: The First of Many?

Grant it, while you would think that the Board would have seen this risk coming sooner, I still feel that the Board of UBS is quite capable. NewsVisual actually had an interesting article and interactive map of the corporate ties of the Board of Directors at UBS www.newsvisual.com/new... . Besides finance, some of the other industries they are involved in are pharmaceuticals, automobiles, and software. With all this experience I feel that they are more than capable of turning the company around next quarter.
