forget about the DELUGE OF NEW SHIPS...

it's GONNA BE A "DELUGE OF EXPENSIVE NEW SHIPS...that most of the other carrier sectors WON'T BE ABLE TO AFFORD ...not only are they expensive... but CREDIT TO BUY THEM... is SKY-HIGH!

the other SECTOR CARRIERS are SCREWED... and I expect many WILL not be able to finance them ... and will additionally have to pay HEAVY PENALTIES when they can't afford TO TAKE DELIVERY...

MEANWHILE Ocnf will just keep acquiring "cost-effective" used ships, and get new higher BDI based charter rates on them...

no-brainer...OCNF has the "best strategy" going forward...

...and why China will need lots of dry-bulk supplies to continue to fuel this growth, and not only in the "net sector" but all the businesses that provide to products to be sold online AS THEY BUILD THEIR DOMESTIC CONSUMER MKT (mostly to replace the declines in the consumer mkts in u.s. and europe).

A 25% IMPROVEMENT IN LESS THAN 30DAYS...

...lots of other STOCKS ...WISH THEY COULD SAY THE SAME...

...now that we've hit 120's ...130's is JUST AROUND THE CORNER...maybe TODAY...

why a RISING BDI is important to the dry-bulk sector and Ocnf.

Ocnf, as well as Drys are following the "contract rate" scheme. This insures "steadier potential revenue" in times of economic uncertainty.

it, for the most part guarantees revenues REGARDLESS OF A significant downturn in the BDI.

1. this is a good scheme in case the economy turns sour, and was a good move for the last two years or so.

2. Now that the BDI is rocketing AND SHOWS NO INDICATION of "once again weakening (like new lows in Dec08)...well, that means:

a. as Ocnf renews contracts... THEY WILL BE AT HIGHER RATES (based on the new higher BDI rates), etc.

b. as Ocnf ACQUIRES MORE SHIPS (used ships, for better value) THESE WILL EITHER BE CONTRACTED AT HIGHER RATES or may float with BDI day-rates.

c. Ocnf DOES NOT HAVE "all ships" under contract for 2010 and beyond... which means these ships will GARNER HIGHER CONTRACT/FLOAT RATES.

ALL IN ALL: the BDI ROCKETING... has plenty of potential GOOD IMPACT MEANING for the future fortunes and prosperity/stability of Ocnf going forward...

that's about it...

so, BDI rocketing! GREAT FOR THE DRY-BULK SECTOR AND GREAT FOR OCNF!

take a look at some of the "growth percentages."

...that's why I'm so strong on my emphasis of China, and WHY DRY BULK is a great sector investment, and as Ocnf is the laggard in this sector, I expect it will have the "biggest relative stock price increase!"

even JAPAN is recovering... and their prospects were considered worse than ours... what with them extremely based AS A u.s. consumer based EXPORT ECONOMY (Toyota, Sony elecs., etc.)

So, it turns out IN ADDITION TO EMERGING MKT economies to support the dry-bulk sector... THINGS ARE PICKING UP NICELY "also" in the traditional economies of U.S., EUROPE AND JAPAN...

that's why BDI is rocketing....

a 15% gain in one day... gonna look good on a lot of financial webpages tonight...AND GET SOME ATTENTION...

I think maybe we're "gettin' some legs" for a steady MOVE UP...

...MAYBE EVEN A "GAP-UP" TOMORROW!

I think the funds, etc. are COMING ON-BOARD NOW... and not just to daytrade... but to ACCUMULATE FOR A RECOVERY with the dry-bulk sector having one of the best potentials for the biggest gains...
