Why Property Taxes Must Be Cut

Vahan, Finally someone is noticing this part of housing and a very big problem now and ahead.
Taxing bodies are no longer using market valuation of current sales !!!
They are now going back to those days the real estate agents set the high wealth creating years. Wait till they factor in the new cause of foreclosure when homeowners will lose their homes to unpayment of real estate taxes.
FASTCAD will most likely be scooping them up at the County Sheriff sale.

Check out what is happening in Chicago highest tax rate in the country !!!
Fastcad just send in your extra dollars to you local taxing body I am sure they will accept your generosity with giving themselves a handsome pay raise .
As you me lower them so I do not have to here about another Grandma losing her home because she can not pay the taxes.

Bankers are handling distressed properties differently across the USA.
I can tell you by personal experience of over 23 yrs. Bankers are not your pals in thes transactions. BEWARE as Liz found out. Bankkers lenders who ever they are that are handling these are trying to create excitement, an auction atmosphere . Guess what buyers do in these frenzies OVER pay.
Yes prices are relaxing all over -- supply and demand and maybe the banks are lower them because that bail out never did come or did it !!!
Buyers be very careful out there . Just who is getting the good deal ???

Don't Expect a Housing Bottom Until Late 2009

I saw this coming way back when. I am a realtor for the past 22yrs so I have seen a lot
of different markets-- good,bad and now the ugly.
I usually represent sellers and for well over a year I have seen the eroding
of the selling prices. You are correct sellers are in denial,they say not over here it is only over there. The market time marches on gets longer and longer and thier asking prices gets farther away. Now I am not in the mega pricing areas I am talking 80 to 400.
Yes there will be plenty of foreclosures to come on the market. Guess what the banks are doing the same with those asking prices !!!!!!
