It makes me mad that corporate pensions have either been raided for their cash or simply gone away. And the supposed savings is now going into the pockets of the CEOs instead.
I learned a long time ago to plan for retirement as if social security won't be there when I retire. Since then I have invested wisely for retirement and have a nice nest egg. I have also learned that the investment "professionals" don't know any more than I do about stock selection. Their advise has been wrong probably more often than my own choices. So readers should only depend on them until they get comfortable doing research and investing on their own.

The problem seems to be that there is as much emotion to the investment community as there is hard-core analysis. So one side is rooting for the unending upswing that is all things Apple. And the other side is reminding us about the bubble that's been created. Both sides are right and both sides are wrong.
