  • Shares Of Glu Mobile Are Poised To Triple [View article]
I am surprised to see how many "numbers" investors/traders continually refer to earnings/profits/valua... etc. A company's share price goes up/down according to the market's perception of growth in revs. How much profit are AMZN, YELP, LNKD making? Yet their share prices have skyrocketed. Inversely, AAPL earnings continued to break all time records while the share price was decimated. Mark is right...GLUU's revenues are improving and will accelerate. JMHO, if you wait for "the street" to tell you that, you'll always be a step behind.

  • Does Google Have A Real Potential Workaround Against Vringo With It's New Algorithm Changes? [View article]
Patent News, for someone with "no position" on VRNG you seem rather interested/hopeful that GOOG does have a WA. Your Hummingbird idea is 100% wrong as it is not related to the Ad search patents....but back to the WA. GOOG claims to have a WA and VRNG claims that after reviewing the documents/source code provided that the new system is the SAME as the old system. So each side's experts will have to present their case to the judge and whoever makes the best case, as it was in the trial, will probably win. IF I have to bet, I'm betting on VRNG's experts. They convinced the jury on the infringement 100%, the judge is using the Georgia Pacific calc, and using 20.9 RR base...these are all VRNG positions. So far, GOOG biggest success has been their ability to delay delay delay. Worst case scenario VRNG still collects around $100 mill from the GOOG case. Add to that ZTE, ADT and others that will come. They WILL get paid. There are way more positives than negatives no matter how you want to spin it.

Well, so much for this article...Vringo just updated shareholders and guess what...the Humingbird has NOTHING to do with the case. It is an organic search not related to Ad search. I guess some of the posters do know more than the author about "search." That's embarrassing and hurts credibility. Time to change to another "contributor" name, I guess.

  • Chinese State Media Confirms GeoInvesting's Key Finding On L&L Energy [View article]
This is the law firm confirming L & L's controlling interest in the mines. Don't know but I think more credible than someone with a HUGE short interest in the stock.

DACHENG LAW OFFICESFounded in 1992, Dacheng Law Offices is one of the first and largest partnership law firms in China. For six consecutive years from 2005 to 2010, Dacheng had been awarded as an “Outstanding National Law Firm” by the All China Lawyers Association, and for three consecutive years from 2009 to 2011, the leading Asia-Pacific magazine Asian Legal Business had ranked Dacheng first both among “ALB China: 20 China’s Largest Law Firms” and among “ALB 50: Asia’s Largest Law Firms”.

Dacheng Law Offices is home to more than 2,500 licensed attorneys worldwide. Headquartered in Beijing, Dacheng has established an extensive global legal services network consisting of over 50 offices, including a Wall Street Office in New York. Its well-designed online network management platform enables Dacheng to offer seamlessly integrated legal services to its clients on a global basis

I know of very credible authors that submit articles and SA still takes more than a few minutes after a company's PR to publish them.

How can SA publish an article in a matter of minutes when it normally takes days for other authors? Or is SA in with GEO Investing?????

  • Is Vringo Or Google Cheering The Federal Circuit's Fresenius Decision? [View article]
If VRNG gets 0 from GOOG , I'd say the stock should be worth around $3.00 based on the ZTE litigation, the patent portfolio, work being done in Israel and cash on hand....so if they get the minimum 3.5% of 20.9 base, the stock should still go up at least $1.00.

  • Why I'm Betting Big On Implant Sciences [View article]
mukticat...somewhat pathetic you spend so much time pointing out on SA the negative points you see on IMSC. If you don't think its a good investment, then just wait until the company improves the Bal Sheet and sales before you buy in. Of course you'll probably have to pay a much higher share price...or you can simply just find another stock to buy. Just don't get you spending so much time on something you don't think it's worth $1. This is the time to buy. The SP will not be close to what it is now in 6 months.

I read their 10K also....what did you expect?? This is a company that has been developing new technology....They're supposed to have large sums of debt. How else do companies finance R&D? Debt or dilution, period. If you wait for the financials to be "pretty" then you've already missed the opportunity. This is a solid long term investment...if you have an investing horizon of more than just 3 months of course.

Marpha you show great support for fiscalsaint's comment but very conveniently ignore the 99% phone sales part of it...at least make it look like you are being objective-LOL

  • Thoughts On Google's Motion For Leave To File Supplemental Evidence [View article]
Marpha, I think you are the only that expected all defendants to roll over. What, you expected ZTE to not even respond to VRNG? Litigation is a long process. ZTE could go to trial or simply try to get better terms from VRNG before settling. Too early to know.

I have another possibility. I think everyone agrees that VRNG's attorneys are some of the best in the business. WHAT IF, this is a trap for Google? I highly doubt they did not consider all the possible scenarios that could take place by announcing this agreement before the RR ruling. What if the contents of that agreement can give VRNG more leverage against Google and they want Google to open the door? I see some people here refer to VRNG's attorneys as if they are incompetent...I think they are very capable and know exactly what they are doing

  • Vringo: Where's The Money? [View article]
Interesting info--One of the patents VRNG acquired from MSFT has to do with semantic search. An article form the WSJ in March 2012 mentions that GOOG was tinkering with semantic search as a way of staying ahead the competition (BING)....there is a lot more to this patents than people think

Where is the information? Nothing new here. You list some patents but offer no information about them. It would have been a more useful article if you had provided some analysis/opinion about what the rumored patents could represent to VRNG. If everyone and their grandmother had calculated the MSFT case could represent up to $175mm then the value of these acquired patents should follow that thinking...I think I read somewhere that VRNG has some pretty smart IP experts and attorneys in their team...I doubt they accepted 1mm and some worthless patents in exchange for what could have been over 100mm in revs.
