  • NeoStem Ranked the Number One Fastest Growing Company in the Tri-State Region on Deloitte's 2013 Technology Fast 500 for the Second Year in a Row [View article]

    Outstanding . . .

  • NeoStem: Major Developments You Might Have Missed [View article]
Last three months show a head and shoulders formation . . . short-term bad news. If the chart formation is right we may see $5.00 or less. And that . . .would be a good time to buy. Long term price projections I have seen show around $32. That would make for a tidy gain.

  • This Short-Term Pain Might Be Best For Long-Term Gain [View article]
“All courses of action are risky, so prudence is not in avoiding danger (it's impossible), but calculating risk and acting decisively. Make mistakes of ambition and not mistakes of sloth. Develop the strength to do bold things, not the strength to suffer.” Niccolò Machiavelli
That is a risk I am willing to take.

  • NeoStem to offer shares, stock falls [View news story]
I'm holding, at $7.00, it can't fall much more. I only wish I had more $$$ to throw in right now!

  • Insiders Are Buying Axcelis Technologies [View article]
I think I am going to stay in the money for a while, things are looking a little jittery. We're getting close to those notorious months of September and October.

It may have been a dumb move, but I sold ACLS today, mainly because I saw what could be what chartists call a head and shoulders formation . . . (well I did not see it, because the formation is not complete), but I saw the potential for it, and decided to get the heck out on the peak of the last shoulder. Also, on Scottrade, their price target for the next year was only around $2.00 a share . . . . (I have to wonder now though as this article quotes it as much higher.). Regardless, the lesson I learned on this one was look at the price target before jumping in . . . had I done that I would have come out ok.

  • Why I Bought This Speculative Stock For Less Than $2 A Share [View article]
I really must be missing it, whatever it is. I see no reason why this stock is heading downward . . . Then again, reason does not dictate to the market.

  • Fairchild Semiconductor: Buy On Dips For Better Margins Due To Restructuring And New Factory [View article]
Wait one . . . you said "Discounted Cash Flow analysis, the current fair value of the company is $13.58, or 4% above its current price of $13.04 per share." Then you said later "I recommend investors to buy Fairchild Semiconductor on minor dips as it is approximately 4% overvalued, and add more to positions on major price pullbacks." I'm confused, which is it, 4% overvalued or 4% undervalued?

  • What Does This Reverse Split Mean For NeoStem Shareholders? [View article]
As I understand it, after a reverse split, volatility increases. I was watching NBS prior to the split, and decided on a safer stock. Hats off to anyone who got in before the split and was smart enough to get out before the big drop. The writing was on the wall, the volume went thru the roof prior to the reversal. It will be interesting to see what happens in the near future . . .

  • What Does This Reverse Split Mean For NeoStem Shareholders? [View article]
Given NBS's current burn rate, I would expect that they will be adding to the float sometime in the future. The reverse split will make that easier. Short term, this stock is not a good bet if you ask me, but long term, I think it will soar.
