Short Squeeze Could Propel Silver Prices Higher [View article]
Perceptions become reality, silver is the poor man's gold. When the mania comes both silver and gold will increase dramatically. Of course, there will be rallies and pullbacks. Within three years, we will see at least $1600. gold and $35.00 silver. I believe, I am being conservative with that estimate. For $2000.gold and $50.00 silver is not out of the question. It depends on inflation and weakness in the US dollar. The peak of this gold and silver bull market as yet to be reached. I repeat, will there be corrections along the way, of course.
CDE's senior management is looking to have a very big payday when they cash out their stock options within the next three years, for they will be of retirement age. Within three years, this stock will be at the minimum at least a double from the current price.

I took a 10 for 1 haircut; however, if you believe silver within the next four years will see at least $35.00 an oz. then CDE will be over $50.00 a share, within the same timeframe.

Ritirement is coming for top management in the next few years, including some who will take early retirement and enjoy the good life. The economic macro picture is for stagflation in the future, before we have a robust economy. Therefore, the precious metals will see new highs and this company is gearing up production, big time. They, management, are looking for those options to pay handsomely. I plan to be along for the ride.

The last CDE presentation I saw; stated that when the new Mexician mine goes into full production in 2009; the cash cost of extractioning the ore on a companywide basis would be $1.72 an ounce. With inflanatioary pressures of cost of materials, such as truck tires, etc., I can see an increase; perhaps to $2.50 an ounce on the high side, but not $5.00 an ounce for extracting the ore in 2009. The cost of extracting the ore did include bi-metal credits.
The present management team has the talent to execute its business plan. They are not inept, and I believe, they learn from their mistakes. The lawsuit is on appeal, and they have a backup plan to treat the mine tailings if they don't win on appeal. The gold mine in Alaska will go in production. The execution of the company business plan, will achieve significant value in the common stock within 18 months.
I agree with Ipet2 and Sieromero's comments. My CDE's losses have cost me one half of my metals profits. I believe management has made some mistakes; however,Dennis has vision, and he has a record of execution, and a vested interested in a much higher common stock price for CDE. CDE has the potential to exceed its peers in percentage increase in its stock price within the next 18 months.
