      Apple's AT&T Deal Is Costly
This story is pretty naive. Under what circumstances would the industry NOT consider Apple their enemy?

iPhone Update Creates 'Bricks' - Apple's Reputation At Risk?
Jon T is right. Go to an Apple Store. They're mobbed, and the people inside have no intention of hacking their iphone. They see YouTube and Google Maps and say ooooh. They drool over the product as is.
You can grab headlines by talking about the bricks, but those customers are few - and they knew they'd traveled out of bounds. Their troubles are their own responsibility.
You can read the comments on your site's "ibrick corporate branding" sensational story. Further evidence that your site generates bunk like Business 2.0 and Elmer-Dimwitt.

It's a little more complicated when you partner with a company like AT&T on a product like the iPhone. How many people are we talking about anyway? The vast majority of iphone users are delighted with it right out of the box. They're more interested in getting a pink one than hacking it. This is far from the "disaster" your headline hopes for. You're talking about a handful of users, big deal. Nobody cares.

Apple Shares: A Bit Too Glamorous For My Taste
Exactly. Mac sales are the future of Apple. They only have 3% market share. That's gives them a ton of people to sell Macs to. This stock is just getting started.
