The real issue that there are so many "authors" who need to write something that will be read, so they make up a bunch of crap about the smallest nothing regardless of its basis in reality (think 24 hour news networks).
I may write an article about the time I dropped my iPhone in the toilet, and was able to reach in and pull it out without my call disconnecting or losing my bluetooth connection.

Speaking from my gut....
I love the Monster REHAB drink, and go through them like water. It comes in three flavors, with my favorite being the Sweet Tea (like an Arnold Palmer). In fact, I'm going to the shareholder meeting in Riverside just in case they are giving away free drinks.

Like @mebarrett2 says, once you go Apple, you don't go back.
My first job was with a computer company in 1985, and from 1985 through mid 2007, I swore I would never buy anything "Apple" because Apple was just for graphic designers (and children). Then in late 2007, I purchased my first iPhone after spending 4 months checking out the iPhones purchased by several colleagues.
After experiencing the quality of the Apple product (not to mention the best customer service and support in the industry), I've not only upgraded the iPhone with each new release (and will again in ~October), but I've also purchased an iPad2 for my daughter and a New iPad for myself (upgraded from my own iPad2), I have a Mac Mini Sever serving my home media to the iPads and my AppleTV (the little black box) and serving my office files to my MacBook Pro (which I use with my Thunderport Monitor) - and I have no intention of ever using a non-Apple computer again.
Now I'm not saying that AAPL will continue to rise in price forever, but 99% of the critics aren't giving credit to the quality of the APPLE product or the loyalty of the APPLE customer - who, to paraphrase Johnny Cash, "would kill a PC user, just to watch him die."

Awesome! Love the "Dog Snout"! If it stays flat, you may be able to do a follow up using a duck billed platypus pattern (vicious creatures as they may be).
"Something big is about to happen" that involves an Apple (AAPL) product, claims a source. The source adds she's seen a major increase in Apple-related auditing and customs paperwork, and is positive it has nothing to do with MacBooks or iPads. All signs point to the next iPhone not arriving until fall. [View news story]
So someone who works for UPS believes "[s]omething big is about to happen" because of an "increase in Apple-related auditing and customs paperwork", which "has nothing to do with MacBooks or iPads" nor in any way changes the fact that "[a]ll signs point to the next iPhone not arriving until fall."
Netflix (NFLX) and CBS have discussed reviving post-apocalyptic TV series Jericho, according to TV Guide, which adds talks are in preliminary stages. Netflix has already committed to revivingArrested Development, and also plans to produce other original series'. Reviews for Netflix-developed Lilyhammer, which launched earlier this year, have been mixed. [View news story]
Arrested Development is possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen. I can't wait for the new season! I could watch some more Jericho too. But I couldn't even get through one episode of Lilyhammer.
Apple (AAPL): FQ2 EPS of $12.30 beats by $2.24. Revenue of $39.2B (+59% Y/Y) beats by $2.4B. 35.1M iPhones sold, 11.8M iPads. Shares +4.4% AH. (PR) [View news story]
I took a bunch of hits to protect my downside. I'd like to kick myself, but it was the right thing to do to make sure I could live to play another day if the bears were correct.
I think he makes one, two maybe even three sensible points, but I disagree with the rest of them pretty strongly. Most specifically, I think people are generally underestimating international sales (just look at the people who lined up in South Korea on opening day [and yes I realize South Korea will be in Q3, and not Q2], or the boy who sold both is kidneys, his liver and a lung for an iPod Shuffle).
And if for no other reason, Apple will remain the dominant smartphone brand because "Stats Show iPhone Owners Get More Sex" http://bit.ly/Jm33uK (it was true in 2010 it is true in 2012).
BTIG's Walter Piecyk, who downgraded Apple (AAPL -0.6%) to Neutral 2 weeks ago on subsidy cut fears, argues today that cuts are already quietly occurring. As evidence, he points out AT&T (T), whose iPhone sales are heavily skewed towards upgrades, has stopped allowing iPhone users to obtain subsidized upgrades after just a year. In addition, Piecyk estimates Sprint sold just 1.4M iPhones in Q1, down from 1.8M in Q4. Apple reports after the close tomorrow. (also) [View news story]
I remember the same story about AT&T when the iPhone 3Gs came out, but when the rubber hit the road, AT&T was more than happy to let people upgrade rather than risk the loss of monthly revenue. As for me, my AT&T bill (just for my iPhone) is close to a $160 a month and I can promise you that in October, if AT&T doesn't want to subsidize my iPhone 5 (or whatever it's called), I am sure I will be able to find a carrier that will - and will happily send AT&T a $150 check to cancel my account (and will also be sure to switch my two iPads to Verizon as well). But that is just me and pretty much everyone I know (but I can't speak for everyone).
