iChat works great already. Any two Macs can have a video chat with good (approx. analog TV) quality video and sound. It is free and it is idiot-proof. I have tested that last part myself. If you have a Mac give it a try with a friend or distant relative. I'm surprised this Mac freebie doesn't get more attention.

Could iPhone Become the Best Selling Smartphone on the Planet?

iPhones are light years ahead in bringing the web to the small screen. But users will never surrender their Blackberrys until (if ever) the iPhone offers a real keyboard AND the fast, push email that RIMM is making millions from. The NYT today published a summary of a study on what features people actually use on their smart phones. The vast majority never do anything except make phone calls, TXT and check email. The cell phone screen may just be too small for the human to use. I own AAPL and do not own RIMM. (Note: AAPL is a must-hold investment, but not for the reasons and speculation listed in this article)
