  • Sears (SHLD) will close 100-120 Kmart and Sears stores, and will take Q4 charges of $1.6B-2.4B. Quarter-to-date comparable sales are off 5.2%.     The problem is that these stores don’t look very appealing to walk into. I haven’t come across a remodeled Sears or K-mart. Every Target in California has been completely renovated, and most Wal-Mart’s. I just think a lil facelift could help with retail sales.
