Barbara Ann Cerda is a freelance writer based in Columbus Georgia. Born in Austin Texas, she grew up along the lakeshores of Chicago. Her writings are energized by a varied education. In first attending Chicago City Colleges, she majored in General Sciences that included two years studying Nephrology Technology. She later studied at Northeastern Illinois University, changing majors to her passion for Economics. Barbara later entered banking and brokerage businesses while attending the American Institute of Banking or AIB, studying Trust Law and Bank Management. Working briefly as an IB or Introducing Broker to Mr. Jack Sandner the Mercantile Exchange Board Chairman, she later moved on to the Corporate Trust Investor Relations division at the First National Bank of Chicago. In 2003 she was a contract contributor to the Global Benchmarking website survey group at Price Waterhouse Coopers, then later with UBS.
