  • Are Ford And Toyota Too Cheap To Resist? [View article]
Let’s just look at the products instead the stock for a moment.
One company’s products have made my life more enjoyable and much better!
One company’s products have made my life less enjoyable and much worse!

Toyota vehicles are environmentally friendly as to noise. I don’t think I have ever been woke up or disturbed by a Toyota product.
Ford vehicles use the horn for convenience instead of emergency. I have been woke up, disturbed and interrupted during sports play many, many times by Ford products.

When this message finally gets out and people get “fed up” with these disturbing horn-locking cars I hope they vote with their feet and buy something else.
If this happens, only then will the auto industry fix this stupid design.

When alien beings arrive on Earth I am expecting them to park their space vehicle, get out and honk their horn with the remote disturbing the first humans they encounter. This is not a good way to start an interstellar friendship!

    Disclosure: I am long (TM)

  • Why Ford Is Stuck In Neutral [View article]
The New World of Noise Void of Common Sense
Let’s look at the product that this company has sold. This product has been waking me up from sleep for over 9 years by sounding the horn for convenience instead of emergency.
It’s your hard-earned money. You should buy the vehicle that you want. You may never be able to afFORD another one in your life. This makes it a very serious decision and you have to look at every aspect of long term ownership. I believe in freedom of choice.
If Ford wants me back as a customer they have to offer a vehicle that does not use the horn for convenience and has a locking fuel door with inside cable release. I want the biggest bang for my buck and I want to take pride in my purchase for years to come.

  • Toyota: This Dip Offers Another Exciting Opportunity [View article]
You can please some of the people all the time and all of the people some of the time but you can’t please all the people all the time but Toyota seems to be trying with their expanding product line.

  • Having reported its largest annual profit in five years earlier this month, Toyota (TM) has forecast that its FY 2014 net income will jump 42% to ¥1.37T ($13.4B). Meanwhile, the car maker intends to increase the total compensation paid to directors by 28% to ¥1.53B. [View news story]

I hear the sweet sound of a Toyota parking…

… parking profits in my checking account.

After parking a Toyota product all you hear is a nice quiet beep and it does not disturb anyone. Toyota engineers have common sense and thought about the disturbing nature of auto horns.

Thank you, Toyota for allowing me to sleep at night.

Thank you for selling me your stock at $61.00.

After parking other manufactures’ products you may hear a short horn blast registering greater than 60 decibels preventing quiet enjoyment of your life.

Disclosure: I own (TM) and I have taken profits all the way up.

It’s been a fun ride so far!

  • General Motors, Toyota And Honda: Which Is The Winning Bet For Now? [View article]
I can’t follow this. It sounds like financial mumbo jumbo.
Invest in a company without looking at the product?
In order to make money don’t companies have to sell products?

    Okay smart guys,
Why don't Santa Claus wear suspenders?

One of these companies was smart enough to use the vehicle horn for emergencies and not convenience. Their products are environmentally noise friendly. The other two build products that go honk…honk…honk…in car parks across America every day.

Please don’t buy these horn-locking vehicles and send a message to the companies that we do not want products that disturb other people.

    Oh yeah!
Santa Claus does not wear suspenders because Santa Claus does not exist!

  • Ford Will Make A Turnaround In 2013 [View article]

I don’t think Ford has the products at this time to compete in a world class market but there are loyal consumers. They need safety, reliability, and quality in their product line and accuracy and truth in their advertising. With today’s social media connected potential buyer it is going to become more difficult to cover up product defects and products falling short of customer expectations.

  • American Manufacturing Is Not Dead: Buy Ford [View article]
A well written article with good graphics but it sounds like a Ford product commercial.
If you look at the Ford’s history of recalls the products have a questionable safety record and too many are concerned with fire.

I would not put a dime in Ford because of their obvious poor design that causes noise pollution.
I have been awakened from sleep many, many times by Ford products.

I can NOT imagine how a so called “automobile engineer” decided it was okay to use a short horn blast to indicate the status of the door locks or the security system.

I can NOT imagine how this stupid feature got mass produced without any thought of how disturbing it would be to other people near the vehicle.

I CAN imagine a world where the automobile horn is only used in emergencies again?

Please send a message to the auto industry by not buying these disturbing horn-locking vehicles and make the world a quieter and better place for everyone.

  • Why Toyota Is Cheap [View article]

This is a good article with good graphics and an interesting read.
I like the stock and I like the products.

The competing products use the automobile horn for convenience instead of emergency and cause unnecessary noise pollution.

I think this company has a better design and is making a quieter and friendlier world for everyone.

Disclosure: I am long (TM) and have taken profits recently.

  • Time To Ride Ford's Turnaround [View article]

Ride the turnaround in the stock but don't ride in a new Escape or Fusion. Get your loaner car from the dealer and drive that until Ford figures out what is causing the engine fires.

Ford does a good job of controlling the media on bad news.

  • These 4 Auto Stocks Are Unlikely To Fuel Your Portfolio [View article]

When I look at stocks I keep it simple and look at the product that the company makes.
Does the product work and do people want to buy it?
Of these 4 auto companies I like the one that designs a product that doesn’t use the automobile horn for convenience and cause unnecessary noise pollution.
I can NOT imagine how a so called “automobile engineer” decided it was okay to use a short horn blast to indicate the status of the door locks or the security system.
I can NOT imagine how this stupid feature got mass produced without any thought of how disturbing it would be to other people near the vehicle.
These vehicles are causing friction instead of friendship between neighbors and people in parking areas.
I CAN imagine a better, quieter and friendlier world where the automobile horn is used only in emergencies again.

    Disclosure:
I own Toyota and I have taken profits recently.

  • High Expectations For Honda And Toyota [View article]
    Mr. Zanoni,

    I don’t think I exaggerated about Honda’s horns.
Is it possible that you misunderstood what I said?

The people that drive Hondas do not have a problem with the horn. It’s the people who are disturbed by their horn that have the problem. If you lived in an apartment community or stay in motels then you would understand what I am complaining about. I have been awaked all hours of the night by Honda drivers sounding their horn when they park.

I suppose that you have never walked in front of one of these Hondas in a parking lot when the driver sounded the horn with remote either.

I guess you have lived a charmed life so far.
    Don’t worry, be happy.
