I am retired. Prior experience in capital markets, always, in the offering side of the business, first as an issuer for a no-investment grade sovereign country, later on as head of the group leading the funding efforts of a AAA international organization by issuing bonds across geographic areas, and market sectors. Currently, I would like to put to work some modest savings in the market. I've started in the pref market, as it seems to offer income and potential growth, particularly, buying potential invest grade issuers i.e, medium to long term. I like it as it combines three things, the macro, the micro, and the institutional arrangements/game theory/all things considered, to become with a conscious decision about buying, do-nothing, or wait and see. Besides, I like gardening, Chinese traditional medicine including all the activities which go with it, and continue to be in good physical/moral shape.
