Geithner on Yuan: Misstep or Warning Shot?

let me get this straight, Geitner wants the yuan to rise or the dollar to fall. that isn't good for anything except our government's desire to devalue our national debt. it will ruin our purchasing power considerably and make the issuance of further debt needed to finance bailouts harder. I say let the chinese keep manipulating their currency lower..better for dollar earners/holders. in fact this may be reverse psychology on geitner's part, fully realizing the chinese, culturally, don't like to be told what to do, so naturally they'll do the opposite which will stengthen the dollar and help contain inflation in the US
