  • Expect A Brief GLD Relief Rally On Kocherlakota Pushback [View article]
When a supposed "learned" article like this starts spouting fake stats, my eyes glaze over.

Mr. Analyst, you cannot simply ignore reality, and expect us to care what you write.

You KNOW that this 5.8% employment number is political garbage. Your graph is fiction.

You KNOW that inflation is a political lie, utterly fake opaque calculation, "excluding" food and energy, for instance. Another fictional graph.

And finally, your graph of GLD presented as truth, again ignoring the reality of Manipulation. Did you not read the news this week? UBS, Citi, Chase, and BofA all fined billions for currency "manipulation".

For you to utterly ignore all these pertinent factors renders this article JUNK.

  • U.S. flat, but Europe slides along with bond yields; gold bounces [View news story]
So funny, and these are what kind of "jobs" ? Part time, low skill. What solid mis-direction.

And this "Good News" is what makes GLD scream up?

  • Despite Recent Blood, Gold Crushing S&P 500 Total Return [View article]
Bbro, But can that continue? that is the whole point. An ideal portfolio gets rebalanced once in a while. There is no question that SPX is over bought, and GLD over sold. The ratio is historically low, 1140 / 2030 = 0.56 The real question, is WHEN do you re-balance? I thought that time was this summer, but I was wrong. Author Miller apparently is telling us that the time is near.

  • Low Income Voters In Favor Of The Swiss Gold Initiative, High-Income Voters Against It [View article]
I was just there, Lake Lucerne Switzerland. The locals are VERY nice people. And everything you want to buy is so insanely expensive. I did not see any great love of bankers, or of huge government, among the local "normal" people. Any normal Swiss knows their currency is being destroyed, and will jump at the chance to correct that. Imagine how crazy the situation is now: they throw their national gold away, so that all the citizens can have no savings income, and pay nearly double for all their purchases?

  • The 'Real' Reason Gold Will See $5000 [View article]
I jumped into GLD on that nice dip this summer, buying 3000 shares GLD near $125. When it screamed up to $128 just weeks later, I felt like a genius! I was even smart enough to sell a covered call.

Then the long grind down, and I started reading Avi. Scoffing the whole way, sure that any day I would be a genius again. But thank you Avi for that solid sell paper you wrote 2 weeks ago. I sold ALL my GLD at $118.

Now look where we are, crashed right through the $115 support like it was paper, to $112 today.

SO my hearty thanks to Avi for saving me directly $18,000. Waiting for Avi's buy signal, period.

  • Precious metals lead commodity slide [View news story]
Well here we are driven by more fake news. All the money changers got back from their late lunch in New York, and just started buying up SPX. Why is Visa screaming up? With all the credit card hacking going on?

And wow, they sure are hammering Silver. Record sales of silver coins, at the same time dropped production from miners: First Majestic temporarily suspends silver production Aug 2014.

    Obola, here yesterday, gone today?

Yellin will really raise interest rates on our trillion of debt?

Fundamentals mean nothing, I hope all you traders finally realize this.

  • The Stock Market Machines Are Breaking Down [View article]
Good comment. My play is selling $2000 strike price call spreads on SPX. Somebody is paying fortunes for those calls! I will gladly take that money. My simple explanation for this disconnect of SPX versus the reality of its components is: manipulation.

  • Shareholders In The iShares Silver Trust Are Sticking With It [View article]
To John K, Like you I started at $28. This summer I went long 300 contracts at $18. Sold some calls on the way down from $22. And now like you, I SWEAR to double my SLV at $15. Whatever it takes. I almost feel like it is my duty to step in and be a buyer. Offer my small, but real resistance to the manipulation.

Avi, I believed you enough to buy a long GLD January put on Friday, 30 contracts. Let us see if that goes up the next weeks.

  • Mining stock rally points to coming gains for gold prices, analysts say [View news story]
Exactly Mike! Finally, someone (you) talked about the reality of the un-real PM markets.

When you see just how tiny SLV is, $7B total market cap, tiny even compared to GLD at $34B; microscopic compared to say AAPL at $500B+, then you understand just how easy their manipulation can be. And when even a tiny fraction of fund manager money flows into either or both, they will move.

  • Tesla The Disruptor Vs. Oil The Corrupter [View article]
David, hi performance batteries are no better! I wish someone would give the true amount of energy to create the entire Tesla battery. I heard rumors that the energy to create that battery is equal to some huge number of charge cycles.

  • Gold Manipulation: What Investors Should Do Now [View article]
I think the argument goes: When the manipulation ends, it will be very suddenly! At that time you would really like to own some silver. Preferably as real coins.

  • Gold bull only "wounded" says Ned Davis [View news story]
How can you write about GLD and utterly ignore SLV? If this isn't the best entry point for SLV, then what is? We just had yet another re-test of the sub $18 low. Back to almost a 5 year low. SLV was around $18 last part of 2009. I just bought 3000 shares SLV down here. In my margin account that uses only around $10K of actual cash.

SLV actually posses silver. SLV did not dump their inventory like GLD has. SLV actually was at $33 as recently as 2012!!! It is a Much better story.

  • Gold extends losses to 15-week lows on Ukraine hopes, stronger U.S. data [View news story]
I can hardly read these fairy tales anymore. What will all these idiots say when silver is back to $40 (or more) ?

By fairy tale, I mean "surprise increase" in housing data for one. Take your pick for others.

  • Why Apple Is The Perfect Stock For Anyone [View article]
Like Leo Trader I have hung on from $395 long. And like Wizjinx, I would not suggest to anyone else to buy here. My compromise was to sell a covered call, I got $32 a share for the October 600 as Apple crossed over 600. This way, I received the recent dividend, and will get one more at least. I for certain brought in that nice ATM call money, mine no matter what. Yes, I might kick myself if Apple is much over $600 in October, and will try and enjoy my profit as they take my stock away. Or who knows?

Apple covered calls pay SO much, I wonder why no one subscribes to this strategy?
