Exactly what I expected. ZERO proof. Thanks for confirming.

The dog comment was not meant to be insulting, he is just really good a picking when to buy or sell. I think he can smell it?

I have searched the internet for scientific studies regarding EW, and there have been no successful cases of EW working over a longer period of time.

If you have a link to a scientific study please post it. Until then I wait for proof.

  • Should Apple Issue A Special Dividend? [View article]
My understanding is that if you automatically reinvest the dividend into shares then you are not taxed until you sell the shares.

  • Should Apple Issue A Special Dividend? [View article]
Apple should use their money to repurchase their own shares. If they give me a special dividend it will also automatically be reinvested in Apple shares. This way there is no tax on me, until of course I sell the shares someday in the future.

I would also like to see a stock split at some point, but doubt that they will do that. I just think the shares should appear more affordable for the normal investor. Maybe that does not matter in this day and age though.

Well so far there is zero proof that EW system works. Maybe one day somebody will prove it over a longer period of time then just an individual trade.

My dog is also very good at predictions. He is correct around 50% of the time.

Let me know when you can prove your systems effectiveness.

If the majority of predictions are wrong, then your clients are losing money.

If you are as good as you think why not post exactly trades that you make as you make them. Then people can follow along and see if you make money or not. Would be simple to do.

The problem is that in the real world there is no system that can predict the stock market. At least you make money even if your clients lose.

It is logical to assume that if one in selling a service for $99 per month where they themselves have to constantly work the numbers, and put out daily and sometimes hourly reports. That they are not multi mega rich, because a person who is mega rich would rather manage their own wealth, and use their time to enjoy life a bit more. I know there are some who would rather work until they die, but generally that is not the way people are.

If you look up these systems on the internet doing google searches you can quickly see that they are no better then if you used dice, or darts to determine whether to sell, or to buy, in fact in many cases you would be better off with the dice. LOL

What is interesting about all these stock predictors is the fact that none of them are the richest people in the world, because if one could make picks with any amount of regular success then one could quickly amass a huge pile of money. Even with a track record of 60% you would be very rich in a number of years.

Now if you can convince people that you are an expert and get them to pay a $100 per month then you can make some nice money with no risk. Makes one wonder.

Everyone playing the market can make a list of their successes but the question is.

How often are you correct, and how often are you not???

I have no doubt that sometimes you are right on the money, but what about when you are not? People bet their money based on your advice, and then it turns out wrong. Do you give the clients their lost money back when your advice turns out to be wrong???

Maybe you should ask the wall street fund managers why it is their number one pick. They are not using emotion to pick stocks, but rather numbers.

If I was you being out of Apple since 2007 I too would be pissed off. What a ton of money you would have made had you not sold. Based on that fact any advice of yours is pretty worthless.

Yes, it could be likely that sometime in the next 100 years Apple will fall, but then again maybe they will be the exception that proves the rule.

If you had owned Apple from 2007 until today maybe people would be more interested in what you have to say.

numberguy,...Great post. I agree completely. The smart money is controlling this stock. They (funds) get in low and sell at the highs. These actions have a huge effect on the shareprice. They all know when it is going to happen and the all work together knowing what is going on. The small time investors are always behind the curve, buying, and selling too late.

Avi maybe got lucky once, but with so many different predictions then you are bound to be right once in a while, then you can use that to sell your website. If we do not revisit the low then he was wrong.

Richbar....While it is clear that competition is increasing, so is the customer base. A very large number of people in the world do not yet have a smartphone or tablet.

Throw in an eventual deal with China Mobile, and an iTV and you are also increasing earnings.

Every couple of years people will also be upgrading and buying a new smart phone.

I see very little chance of lower earnings in a couple of years. Quite unlikely.
