Will 2008 Be the Year of the Bear?

One other very ominous technical signal not mentioned above is the fact that the 13 week exponential moving average closed below the 34 week EMA for the S&P 500 this week! There have been only a few of these signals in the history of the market that were false calls. If this signal remains intact at the close next Friday 01.11.08 the odds go way up that this is a bear market.
