rimm is still a one trick pony. cell phones.

aapl has a broad portfolio of products to fall back on with new ideas coming forward on a regular basis. rimm has to wait for aapl to come up with a new idea and then try to integrate it into their system.

people who look at the verizon phone do so because verizon has the best cell phone reception and they're used to that. at&t doesn't. having said that, the iphone is in a different world and if verizon management weren't so full of themselves, they would have struck a deal with apple and created an unbeatable juggernaut. apple is the only cell phone company with vision. the others just try to hitch a ride. their software and hardware combination is unmatched by anyone.
