  • A Bubble Burst? Momentum Names Are Falling Hard [View article]
A TechCrunch article (Feb 19) described the deal as; "...being cut for $12 billion in Facebook shares, $4 billion in cash and an additional $3 billion in RSUs for employee retention." It does not specify the $12B in shares as "new", so isn't it simply the $3B in RSU's that will dilute?

  • 3 Stocks With Recent Intensive Insider Selling [View article]
Thanks Markus for a very interesting analysis.

You point to the insider selling at Molycorp (spring of 2011) as at least, inspiration for your study. Did MCP also satisfy your three criterion for "intensive" selling? It would be interesting to see the details of their insider sales as well; particularly in regard to when Molycorp insiders set up their Rule 10b5-1 Trading Plans.

Your price targets for THR, NDAQ and FE seem reasonable (although I can't find your point & figure charts). Still, the mammoth slide in MCP was due mostly to eroding re prices throughout 2012. Do you believe Molycorp executives saw this coming even before February 2011? More importantly, do you think the intensive selling of the companies in your study is being driven by expectations of falling revenue through 2013?

Thanks again for the excellent analysis.
