    Yes, business printing is highly fragmented. But check printing is all but completely consolidated. Deluxe just bought the (very distant) 3rd largest check printer. It's down to two. From the 10-K: "In the financial institution check printing business there are two large primary providers, one of which is Deluxe." And really the same two on the direct check printing side.

    Perhaps Deluxe should look for other business printing companies to buy.

    There are really only two now, the other larger. How can the CEO focus in the direction of a monopoly?

    The Whole Foods acquisition of Wild Oats is a very similar scenario. Whole Foods competes in the grocery business and is going against Wal-Mart. Siri is in the radio business and competes against Clear Channel. The FTC will approve. -- Fish
